Agreed, he looks like best batman by far imo.

I think he looks right off the comic page, just like Cavil. Which is why they are probably the perfect Batman and Superman to appear together.

I don't know if it's the scan, or if the suit is seemingly wet, but I like the darker hue on that image. I've always thought the gray was a bit too gray in most shots (especially in person). There's a nice slickness when it's closer to the jet black.

Affleck looks excellent in these new pictures. Great time to be a Bat fan.

I think the scene from the latest spot will go like this:

Bruce: 20 years in Gotham...
Alfred: You're going to go to war?!
Bruce: That SOB brought the war to us! Count the dead...
Alfred: He is not our enemy!
Bruce: He has the power to wipe out the entire human race...
Alfred: You know you can't win this. It's suicide.

I feel Bale gave it 110% in all of the Nolan films. There is no question of that.

However, I didn't always get the sense that his Batman (or Bruce Wayne) was a walking vessel of fury, rage and judgement as he's often been written. Sure he was angry at times, but he also seemed more introspective and calmer than some incarnations; that may have been a deliberate effect by Nolan to emphasise how his training with the League of Shadows taught him supreme self control. When he was roaring "Swear to me!!!" at Flass, we saw some of that anger but it seemed like a deliberate ploy to scare Flass. Back in the Batcave with Alfred, his demeanour was somewhat different.

He was pretty angry with Bane when he was talking gibberish.

I heard audible snickers of laughter when Bale threatened Bane

WHEWSH TEH CHREGGA!!! WERASHET!!! U NEVAGAI VET 2 ANUDUNERI SHAWTISHEN!!! WERASHET!!! WHEWSH TEH CHREGGA!!!

Wow looks like there were more members of the Wayne family than we always assumed.

Bruce had to be alive to know Laura Wayne. She died in 1979

That TV spot had some of the best acting I've seen from Ben. This could honestly be a career defining performance for him if that spot is any indication. There's this incredibly subtle physicality to him, at least in that clip. When he's saying the 1% line, Alfred kinda shifts his weight. Bruce shifts right along with him and never break eye contact. It felt like one of those moments where someone is kinda done listening to you, but you aren't finished making your point and you'll be damned if they try to brush you off. There was intensity there.

Hope it's like this the whole film.

Agreed. It's a pretty surreal experience for me to finally see an actor almost perfectly embody my ideal Batman -- the one I see in my head. March can't get here fast enough!
