I think what is being said is the writers could have had Zod sucked back in with everyone else instead of leaving him on Earth thereby needing him to be killed.
The neck snap doesn't bother me as much as the tornado death.

Apparently Superman/Batman is going to film February-August 2014 so we should only have to wait a few months for pictures of the suit. I can't wait.

It's funny, In my head I'd toyed around with the idea of Damon as Lex Luthor for a bit. Now, given the rumors we have about Bruce and Lex's relationship in the movie I'm not really sure if Affleck and Damon's prior work and off screen collaboration would play into the movie or against it....probably best play it safe and say no.

Nerd rage on the internet is less then irrelevant. The impact of the fan community is insignificant compared to the general audience. Examples movies that fans loved that flopped; Dredd, Scott Pilgrim. In fact if you are serious about making a great movie (as long as you respect the source material) the last people you should listen to is the fans.

Of course they won't. Those fanboys don't realized that WB doesn't just want Affleck to play as Batman; the big picture is to keep his talent within the studio so he can keep making good movies for them. After Affleck delivered an Oscar-winning film Argo for WB, they have decided to do all they can do make sure he stays, especially after both Nolan and Clooney have began to move away from the studio. Letting him be the next Batman is just tip of the iceberg for WB.

I do kind of feel bad for Ben, but he's a smart guy. He had to know there'd be riots going into this, he's looped into fanboy culture. I'm sure he knew he was going to be facing a lot of opposition before he signed the dotted line.

It's up to him to make a fool out of everyone now. Though I think he's pretty much in a win/win situation. George Clooney is living proof that you can make a mockery out of Batman and still be taken very seriously in Hollywood.

Am I the only one that thinks that Ben Affleck looks more like Batman than Christian Bale?

Ben looks a lot like Bruce in the early animated series (before the animation style changed)

Except he wasn't just a comedian. Clean and Sober features a stellar dramatic performance from Keaton.
