omg can't handle with all these hydra memes and just found this one

Here's a question: Do we have any idea roughly WHERE on the Potomac River the Triskelion is supposed to be (like how close to the White House, the Pentagon, etc...). I seem to recall them showing Long/Lat. coordinates when we first see it but a) can't remember what they are and b) that's assuming they used real coordinates and didn't just pull numbers out of thin air (which wouldn't surprise me)![]()

Awesome, thanksFound it.
Lat: 38N 53' 33.78"
Long: 77S 3' 38.91"
Notice they once again screwed up the longitude.
That would put it on Theodore Roosevelt Island just north of the bridge.
This article from EW.com has tons of spoilers, so don't read if you haven't seen the movie, but it is beautifully written and well worth the read:
'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is the most political (and subversive) superhero movie ever made
It's a pretty good read because it shows that while not getting partisan one way or another, Marvel found a way to make a political movie that they really haven't done before in any of their other franchises. This article from EW.com has tons of spoilers, so don't read if you haven't seen the movie, but it is beautifully written and well worth the read:

One of the best dialogue exchange in the film has to be "I thought you were more than just a shield." To which Cap replies "Let's find out."
I thought there was a great metaphorical meaning to that. Lots of non-comic readers, particularly outside of the US, assume Captain America is all about American propaganda. That he stands for the government when he actually stands for the people. It's one of the biggest misconceptions surrounding the characters.
Going back to that line delivery, you can look at it in the literal sense, but also in the figurative sense with Cap being a SHIELD agent. The pirate may be referring to a literal shield, but the film is saying "I thought you were more than just a government dog." And since the film just started, Cap replies with "Let's find out".
In other words, "Watch this movie and you'll understand what Captain America is all about." Brilliant dialogue and execution, Russo's.
I believe Steve is, in fact, a Level 8 (meaning he increased 2 levels between the pilot episode of AoS and the events of CA:TWS). However, just because he's level 8 doesn't give him automatic access to all Level 8 files, he could still be individually restricted from some information (Coulson experienced this himself when he was trying to get information on his own recovery).
The "Level 6 targets" that Pierce uses I don't think is referring to what level the agents are within sSHIELD, I think it's more of a 'threat assessment' level (if that makes sense). So there could be a Level 4 Agent that's considered a Level 1 target because they're ridiculously easy to take out without even batting an eyelash (probably an exaggeration, but I hope it's a point that makes sense)
Fury is a Level 10
I agree, I believe Pierce was giving them a threat level, not a SHIELD security clearance. However, it kind of begs the question as to how Cap and BW would be considered equally dangerous?
A Level 4 for BW and a Level 6 for Cap seems more appropriate to me.
Yeah I caught the double meaning of that line too. I'm sure it was intentional foreshadowing.
BTW if you haven't been watching AOS you should start with today's episode as it deals directly with the events of TWS.

I loved this movie so much. Even 4 days later, it's still on my mind.
Probably what they were trying to accomplish was a level 6 threat. It also kinda fit. A level 6 can destroy SHIELD while a level 7 can destroy the planet (Loki).
A very impressive and enlightening point! Thanks for making what is already my favorite film of all time just a little more perfect.
Same here man. Saw it for the third time today and am not even beginning to feel fatigued. Even the Avengers became a bit stale by the third watch. I feel as though I can watch this movie over and over. The last time I felt about a movie like that was TDK.
Hail hydras.....hail hydra everywhere!
You telling me, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just ignited it up another notch in tonight's episode. I almost expect Baron Strucker to appear.
I think in the trailer for next week's episode, they show a glimpse of one of the [BLACKOUT]Insight Helicarriers crashing into the Triskelion from the film[/BLACKOUT] as seen on a viewscreen.
