sounds incredible but new issue captain america number 1 says cap has always been a Hydra agent

F'ing brilliant. Isn't there someone up the food chain that can drop a brick on someone's head in order to add a few IQ points to the idiots who wrote that drivel?

F'em. I'll just stick with the movies. How in the WORLD does that make any sense whatsoever?

These are not even good stories, just for shock value. If they wanted to push a gay superhero, why not push Northstar? I just can't with Marvel these days.

I like Northstar, they could push him or even create a new character that's gay, but Iceman doesn't work at all for me. They could have even kept Iceman straight and teen Iceman gay and it would feel less forced to me.

Imagine if they started introducing this stuff to the films!

Even if it weren't the stupidiest thing ever, it would fall apart, as repetitive, after the Shield is Hydra twist in WS

Calling it now, its either not the real Cap. Or Cap is acting to inflitrate Hydra.

although i think you are probably correct-

It is possible that there are several factions within Hydra that compete with each other.

It possible Rogers mother-who was his link to Hydra worked for a hidden faction of hydra.

Probably going to jump to at #15-16 all time WW by the end of Monday.

They've updated it on the main page now. $2.27M on Wednesday
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/

Domestic: $355,399,099
Foreign: $716,300,000
Worldwide: $1,071,699,099

Again, CW topped the box office. Angry Birds may be able to beat CW this weekend but it looks like it's not a big enough movie to stay ahead of CW on normal weekdays. However, I would expect CW to do bigger numbers on the holiday Monday.

In terms of worldwide gross, it hopped ahead of both Toy Story 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest for 17th all time.

Good numbers. Also, it's a better 3rd WED than IM3 ($2,256,761)

With it being Memorial Day weekend, dunno if that could help the box office performance since the film is titled 'Captain America'

Box Office Mojo predicting CW will finish 4th this holiday weekend.

FOUR-DAY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FORECAST

X-Men: Apocalypse - $82.2 M
Alice Through the Looking Glass - $52.03 M
The Angry Birds Movie - $27.78 M
Captain America: Civil War - $23.12 M
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising - $14.83 M

Kinda OT but not really...I wouldn't be surprised if XMA comes under it's 82.2 4-day projection.

I think it might do better OW, following a well received DoFP, but it will have really weak legs.

It will hit $750M. $800M will be a struggle.
