You guys aren't thinking old enough. Batman in DKR is in his mid to late 50's.

Russell Crowe= Too young, Clint Eastwood=Too old.
Burt Reynolds=Just right

Batman: Keaton would be great to finish it off if Burton directed. If not, Kurt Russel and now that someone brought it up, i wouldnt mind Mel Gibson either.

I's say Rusell Crowe for the Mutant leader...he's huge.

Tim Curry for Joker....Nicholson would be cool too, though.

I would really like to see Keaton do a DKR movie, with Burton directing.

Also though, I always thought that Superman couldn't age. And that even though Bruce Wayne was old, Clark Kent was still the same way that he was when they first met. He still looked fairly young in DKR from my point of view, maybe I'm reading the wrong book lol. I think they even mentioned that in it. Which was how they contrasted Superman/Batman, along with the:"Deep down he's a good person. And deep down I'm not."

Daniel Day Lewis looks good. But I just think if they were gonna follow the story closer, someone younger might be needed.

LMAO. Sorry, but I can NEVER take Burt Reynolds seriouslly.

I think that they should go with Keaton as Batman and Nicholson as Joker. Just to keep it true,cuz Batman '89 was inspired by DKR. I don't know who I would cast for the others. But down the line, like, after the new series is finished, it could make a sweet movie.
