Chapter 43 - “It's Coming” – Discussion Thread 11/17/08

How in the hell is 9th Wonders still being published?

In season one, Isaac gave his last issue and his entire sketch book to the New York courier that took it somewhere that was never revealed.

There's no telling what he had in the package.

The Ending this episode was epic!

Arthur had Elle chained up, so why is she still on his side?

Damn, I miss one episode and I'm out of the loop.

Wow, felt like nothing happened in this episode.
Can't believe Hiro was sent back to square one.

Instead of now?

The hunger being the only reason for him killing?

So he won't kill, over some made up third season plot excuse. Great now the character can evolve and deal with what he's done. Sounds better and non repetitious to me.

So let's just agree to disagree. :)

Best episode thus far, loved every second of it. I'm really curious to see how this chapter plays out and transitions into Fugitives.

I'd rather he come to that naturally and like an actual character instead of the writers just saying "He's good now!" *magic wand wave*

I guess he had enough visions for the entire series run of this show (if it keeps going on for 2/3 more years we will probably get more issues)

Because Sylar is her new BFF and where ever he goes, she follows.

I didn't see any magic wand. I saw fast manipulation that could of been better paced, but no wand. That's just me though.

Better paced?

That doesn't change random plot twists that forced the change and took away all the character's depth. The hunger, being a Petrelli, suddenly a suicide attempt, the Company pushing him to kill... all this to keep him around for no reason and turn him to a good guy.

Sylar needed a break after season one and it shows with how they are treating him.

Thats what Hulu is for.
Then why don't we have a mod here that is actually passionate about Heroes instead of someone that just has to come in here and patrol? I thought mods were put in place in a forum section that really interested them so that they put forth a lot of effort in moderation and even discussion. IMO, it would be quite frivolous to have someone who disliked something so much having to moderate it:o

So? I mod in threads about subject I don't care about with no trouble

What depth? You saw depth I didn't. Just leave it at that man. The Hunger was in favor of your argument not mine. That was an attempt at adding depth to evil Sylar.
It did however lead to his turning good. In the end I feel there was nothing deep about Evil Sylar, therefore any retcons brought out this season are feasible to me since we didn't really know much more about him to begin with. Fortunately all this made him a good guy which means he now has a really messed up past to deal with, that seems more interesting to me.

I didn't say matt was trouble. I just merely asked why he moderates something he doesn't care for.:o

What about his forgive me closet, his sadness when he killed his mother, his longing to be special and be something more:huh: He even mentioned the hunger in Season 1.

That wasn't depth. It took the horrible things he did to be special and made them uncontrollable urges that he feels bad about.... having previously never felt bad after killing someone for their power... because when he was a deep character, in his twisted mind... he was taking power from people who didn't deserve them.

Now he's just some stupid fan fiction run wild.

Great episode if you ask me!

That would just go against the claim that his turning good was rushed which means there shouldn't be any reason to be upset to begin with.......

and 90% evil over 10% looks he's not all that bad, does kinda make a character seem one sided. :)

Yea and now he's good, and still has to deal with those things he did......

I prefer this guy so what ever. Besides he's still on bad guy team.

Oh wait...I think I agree with you:bow:

That would just go against the claim that his turning good was rushed

Because he felt so bad after killing Papa Walker.... or Charlie... or attempting to kill Peter.... or Isaac..... or attempting to kill Peter again.... or Ted....
