Chapter 46 - "Our Father" - Discussion Thread 12/08/2008

I think if you die while your powers are "off", your ass should stay dead :o

That's how Future Claire was able to kill Future Peter in episode four this season. She shot him in the head while the Haitian was around and he died.

Actually. Because of this episode... if the Haitian ever leaves the body of Future Peter alone for long enough... Future Peter lives again.

If that was the case then Sylar and Claire should've stayed dead because they died when they were powerless during the eclipse.

Or maybe only the haitian produces that effect, because future Peter did stay dead when future claire killed him.

Really? Cause that would now mean that... no powers =/= no powers. :whatever:

Thank god for the Heroes writing staff sans a 'consultant producer' like Fuller.

I don't know, the writers are crazy, nothing makes sense anymore.
It's like one thing works for certain situations, and they don't gives us an explanation. Or maybe they don't know what to do with the show anymore. I'm very disappointed this season, I don't think I'm going to keep on watching heroes.

You should have know this by the continuity-raping Claude reference in the complete retcon episode Villains.

EDIT- Before any Heroes 'real fans' try and say different:

1) “In ‘Villains,’ Flint claimed an invisible man tackled him. Claude would have been in NYC at that time and he was hiding from the Company. According to Claude's profile, the Company is not aware of any other specials with Claude's gift so what really happened to Flint? I know he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.”

Was that another mistake by a newer writer that got by us? Or there’s another invisible man out there? Sadly the first.

So, I guess that Horny Glasses
was right all the time because of his attempts to kill Sylar.

I can see their running over budget had nothing to do with that Elle on fire effect... :hehe:

Elles death still pisses me off. Waste of a charecter and tackiest death yet.

Weird Hiro mom a healer but can't save herself and look like Sylar did killed Ellie

Sylar's yoyoness in the past few episodes has been annoying me. :o He needs to either choose a side or just die already.

So far okay. Did the special effects just get alot worse though?

Elle is dead. Sylar is now unable to be permenantly killed (as last week's episode proved) and we now have a God-like character returned to a one dimensional villain. Way to start the episode

& we will never get the Peter VS Sylar fight we deserve :(

No, his mother wanted him to be but his father didn't allow it.

tell me about it. I wish I could give the writers a good slapping and butt kicking. It just makes everything at the beginning of the seaosn seem worthless.
