Chris Hemsworth is Thor

I don't think Chris looks manly enough to be Thor(face wise),well in some pics that is,and his eyes are too small actually.

I just saw Jaimie Alexander at Whole Foods. Yes, I gawked creepily. I tried not to but I just couldn't help it. We made eye contact for a second. It was glorious.

yea its always cool when you meet a celeb. i have met a few wrestlers, and actors myself in the past few yrs.

Just as long as you like the Avengers more than the Ultimates now. :argh:

Same here... I Saw the cast and crew of Big Fish http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319061/ when they were filming in wetumpka alabama,
which is where I live.
They had the whole bridge rented out for a while, for the scene where they escape the hospital and go down to the river

yea meeting celebs are cool. I met patrick warburton, and amanda plummer 2 yrs ago at a film shooting in my home city. Then wrestlers when ever they did a show in area. Then i met a few others when i gone to las vegas like penn and teller and all that. I hope to meet more in the coming years and all that. Since i want to get into tv/film production work myself. Hoping to get out of my home area within the next yr to like nyc/la where there is more work. Since nothing is here in my home city.

Meeting celebs is cool. WORKING with celebs is even cooler. I did stunts on the upcoming Paul and got to shoot a scene and hang out with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, David Koechner, Jesse Plemons, Kristin Wiig and John Carroll Lynch. I smashed a chair over John Lynch's back. It was by far the coolest thing I've ever done. As soon as I get enough money to join SAG, I plan on making a career out of it.

So question about this movie. Is Thor going to be Donald Blake when he lands on Earth? With no memory of being Thor until he finds the hammer?

Chris Hemsworth as Thor = Win

10-30% bigger will be perfect!

yea we been told he isnt going to go by don blake name at all in the film. he will be just thor, and likely will have some memory issues and all that. I am sure though the donald blake name will get thrown out there for a fan nod.

And that photo of chris was prior to him filming red dawn and him bulking up more for thor.

So are they essentially ignoring the 60s period of Thor by not including Donald Blake? But isn't Jane Foster still in this? How is she involved without Donald Blake?

I'm confused....

he is just not going by the name donald blake and not being the whole dr. blake deal. He is probably just goes by thor which is likely only thing he remembers of himself. Then he grows and changes with his interactions with humans and jane. i dont know much on thor myself so i dont know how they are going to go about it. But like i said i still think the blake name will get a mention in there. Like maybe a scene with jane saying thor should call himself a different name since thor sounds so strange, or maybe the name will get a nod like a cross section street names(like just image stan lee creates superman did clark kent lol) or maybe over an intercom in any hospital/what not scene we hear someone calling for a donald blake.

Well it sounds like they're using both classic and the newer Comicbook runs combined.

Just after Thor was restarted in 2007 there was a mini seires of three books Called Ages of Thunder, Reign of Blood, and Man of War that all actually their own stories that told how Thor was bannished to earth and preceded Journey Into Mystery 83 where Thor first appeared.

Thing with those stories is that Thor was bannished during the Viking era, and the books were all from different Ages or Ragnaroks. The other thing that's cool is the stories are actually from Norse Myth!

Well SOME sites are still saying there is a med student involved.
I need to hear it from Marvel first tho lol

I would have too, but I can understand how it's not really fair to cast Hemsworth as the supposed lead but then have another actor come in and play the lead role (as Blake) for like half the film.
