Hunter and Matt have already given an update and an answer to what's going on with the suggestions. Please keep in mind that some suggestions have to be first debated as we have to consider the pros and cons and if it's technically possible to implement the change.

If you feel that this thread is a waste of time, you don't have to post in it, especially if you've not contributed positively. Keep in mind that sometimes it takes time for change to happen. Just because we've been silent, it doesn't mean that your suggestions have been ignored. One has already been implemented. You can now edit your own thread title. That is one very small change and some may consider it insignificant but it couldn't have happened without this thread.

Kudos to the thread title change option. I know that I've created a few that I've had to drag a mod in to help me out with (mostly HR)... and I'm sure JAL will appreciate it when he creates a thread and someone finally tells him that he has once again misspelled something in the title, that he can implement the change himself.

How do you edit the thread title? I've wanted to edit my fanfic one for a while now but when I went there, I didn't see the option under thread tools or anywhere else. A little help please?

I saw where I could change the thread title on an individual post, but not for the whole thread itself.

Go to Thread Tools at the top of the page and then go to Edit Thread. At least that's how I change thread title. YOu should be able to do the same. If not, ask/PM Drak. He's the Tech Master.

I didn't have the "Edit thread" option in my thread tools. You have it because you're a mod (I used to mod another VBullitin board). So yeah, users actually DON'T Have the ability to change the titles on their own threads.

I just tried. I found the thread tools option - don't know if that's new (I've certainly never seen it before) - but there was no option in there for changing a thread title.

The thread tools option is not new. I've used it to subscribe to threads I haven't posted in. Having the "edit thread" option would be new... if it was actually there.

Along with changing thread titles...how about the ability to change poll options as well? This goes along the same lines IMO.

someone suggested different color names, which i thought was cool. i've seen it on another forum (not sure if vbulletin)

if that's not possible, what about increasing the kb size of avatars? this could either be for tenure (length of time at the hype), or by post count (although i'm afraid this would cause more spamming)

the rep points idea wasn't too bad either if it would promote more quality
