Why? It would be nowhere near as unnecessary as the Comunity Diner or Celeberies forums.

I don't think we need new smileys until some of the old ones that don't get used often go away first.

like a LARGE poll. a picture of each and every smiley on the board as of now.... your option to keep or get rid of it. That would be good..... I'm sure we'd lose a few smileys that way and make room for better ones.

Again, I agree. The ones that are not used should be dropped to make room for new and better ones.

1) We pretty much have that already. It's called the Mod Forum. Anyone who doesn't think that these things comes up is pretty dense.

2) People already petition for us to lift their banning, for whatever reasons. They've been doing it by making new names for years. I don't see why that should change. And once a red is pinged to lift a banning--guess what! It goes in the mod forum for discussion!

Not really the same thing, as per most mods suggestions, making a new name after being banned is frowned upon, so I don't know why you'd even recommend that in point 2.
