I confess that I'm not sure if a coworker likes me or is just sometimes oblivious to how some of the things he text me read aloud. Definitely hoping it's the latter.

There are people who I thought were genuinely my friends that recently came out to attack me for no apparent reason. I don't know if it is worth the effort to keep trying to pursue friendship anymore.

Feeling a little defeated.

I was called into work today but blew it off. This was the third time this week I had to cover for someone or change plans. I dont like ditching work, but I would like to have a life too.

Of course, Fridays are busy and I'm sure they got slammed. Should be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.




Also, I have no energy to argue with people in the Spidey forums over the new movie. I didnt hate it and they are all sure it is the worst comic movie ever. Fine, whatever. Hell hath no fury like a fanboy scorned.

Ah, yeah, I've seen how hectic things can get in the deli during the lunch and dinner rush... I don't blame you for not going in, especially on a Friday.

We have been ultra busy lately. I'm told that we usually make between $5000 and $6000 on a Sunday, but lately have been making $9000. Just on one day.

During my grocery store days I never realized just how much **** the deli department had to put up with. People are quite particular about their food, and rightfully so, but there are those customers who take things a bit too far.

And on top of that, you're almost guaranteed to be busy twice a day and there's not much you can really do about it, but be patient and not hop over the counter and put a foot in anyone's ass.
