I had someone unironically tell me to “check my privilege” on Facebook once. It was like spotting a unicorn.

I confess... I'm not sorry that I have strong visceral feelings about the conservatives still coming here trying to shine the turd that is our current social and political situation.

I don't feel one bit of remorse in thinking these people are in fact, to a person, all closet bigots led around by whatever buzzwords they use to justify every bit of crime, corruption and incompetance we are seeing plainly play out in front of us.

If we were just having debates about marginal tax rates... Okay. Fine.

But we passed that level a very, very long time ago.

Now if you are acting like everything is hunky dory or that it's really everyone EXCEPT Trump and the GOP that are responsible for the current situation... I'm not the least sorry in thinking that you are jsut a cold hearted and vicious fool.

And if anyone deserves an apology... It is the rest of us that should get one from every willfully ignorant fool that brought us here.

I have no interest in being polite to these people, and no interest in being told I have to be. I choose to just opt out of that and, to borrow a phrase from the Trump administration, “decline to participate”.

We are so far beyond agreeing to disagree and being polite and civil to people who’ve brought this on the rest of us and continue to make it worse every day with their denial of reality, with their conspiracy theories, with their refusal to obey basic health guidelines during a pandemic. Being expected to be polite to people who are literally trying to kill me is galling.

It makes me mad cause they pulled the library from FXNow, so it's the only service with it. The latest season is on Hulu. I have no need for FXX now. Sunny is on a bunch of other channels and they don't play Archer anymore.

Unfollowed another one today for reposting a guy on his story who was encouraging people not to wear masks. Dropped him a comment first telling him how irresponsible he is with his platform.

I still don't understand these people, how hard it is to wear an effing mask? They don't even care if they get someone else sick, they just think about themselves. That's how I see it.

Wear a facemask and stay the hell away 2 meters away from me, we don't need to be so close one another! It's SO easy and yet some people fail to understand.

People are really being ridiculous babies about something so basic during a freaking pandemic.

And they say "my body, my choice", but they're not just choosing for themselves, they're also choosing for everyone around them, or a retail worker like me when they ignore the mask sign on the door and just come in without one and still expect me to wait on them, which unfortunately I can't refuse to.

I confess I've been having a recurring dream of a pendulum swinging in nothing but a sea of swirling darkness. The blackness seems to move opposite where the pendulum sways, but instead of back and forth it sways erratically in several different directions. The blackness recoils as if not wanting to be touched. Suddenly something pokes out of the blackness. A white fin. It grows larger and larger until a giant mask appears. It mutters something incoherent and then light. I always wonder what it meant.
