I was once told to invest in Marvel stock after they went bankrupt and I thought that was a dumb idea. As if comic book stock would ever be worth anything.

Ditto that. I do enjoy seeing the ultra rich squirm but manipulating stocks can backfire.
Ouch. That hurts.I feel your pain. I wish I'd bought Google when it was penny stock.

Back in the 90s and before the internet was a big deal, I had a small computer consulting/building/repair company. You wanna know what the domain I selected was? "cloudcomputing.com". After I got heavily involved in doing union work, I didn't really have time to put into my company anymore, so I gave up the name......
So.....out "ouch" that....![]()

Yeah.....I hate unions and have never forgiven them for making me do that....

It doesn't directly affect anything in my portfolio....though I kind of wish I'd had some GameStop stock in there.
When you say here, do you mean here (on the forums) or there, as in your life (or more specifically, location?)There's a few things that have happened that make me not want to be here anymore, but I don't really have anywhere else to go.

Ah, glad to hear it, and I can relate a little I think. I mean, I've always lived in my home town, never escaped to the great beyond.Here. Not talking suicidal.

Sometimes I feel like there's more opportunities out there, but I wouldn't know where to even begin, and home is safe and secure, if not a little uninteresting and boring at times.
Oh, my! I thought he was referring to the forum.
My bad!
