DC Universe Online

so are they like levels you play? or akin to cut scenes in games to progress things

Chapters or Issues sounds much better for this type of game than episode
true but since dc has be having heroe be shown in tv via JLU justice league unlimited well it makes sense so it doesn't as long people under stand it and most of the current Mmo's have been using personal term to stand out . like PVE marvel heroes call it pcZ combat zones yet zone's other version of it's genre is used term as mush pve. if that's what they want to call it it pointless arguing with the creator of their own games and what they choose to call it at times. especially if they want to stand out.

If that game the agency didn't fall part the same deal would have happened there as well.

yes they stand for level if you wantr to see it that way. butl evels are called zone's in this case (where MMO's RPG are involved and is what you call the map, you play in .

the overall content as in story and over all as you decribed is called a chapter.

we have to remember with some certain dev's some words mean different things. then what some of us are used to, but if it's what your used to calling it it can mean the same thing . it's a new story content that includes a new level / map to play in.

Sorry to hear that Nathan. The customer service went downhill when Columbus Nova took over. Before it usually takes 1 - 2 business days, not its 3 - 5. I would update the ticket.

Just updated it. They actually messaged me back, on their page though. This entire time I was waiting for an E-Mail notification, which I of course didn't get. So when I checked my Ticket just now, it was already checked as resolved, because they didn't hear back from me.

Well, now that I know I need to regularly check my Ticket, hopefully it'll work out this time.

And got a response. Short story, need a new account. Guess I won't be playing DCUO ever again.

I've been thinking about redownloading this.. But dat grind man...

During the migration process people had to create a new account. And customer service would transfer your prosieben account info to the new SOE/Daybreak account. Did they even offer that?

Dangerous love blooms in DC Universe Online

February 2, 2016 8 Comments

It’s a love story for the ages: A man is trying to find a cure for his wife’s terminal illness while she’s in cryogenic status. That sounds all well and good, but when the man in question is the insane Mr. Freeze and he’s willing to accept collateral damage in his pursuit of a cure, then it starts to cause problems.
Mr. Freeze’s quest to get his wife back is at the core of DC Universe Online’s Love Conquers All event, which is running for the duration of this month. The holiday quests lead into a four-person instance, Love’s Battlefield, which will pit player parties against passion and pastels in the pursuit of plenty of pretties (rewards, that is).
Love Conquers All is also making Valentine’s Day-themed housing decor available at the vendors, so if you have a hankering for a lair full of pink hearts, you better get a move on!

They did not. But I'm going through a FAQ on the Sony website right now, anyone who didn't use the migration period, can still contact SOE customer support, and they might be able to do it manually, though it might take some time. Guess I'll try and do that then.

*EDIT*

Ah, never mind, missed this line 'As of January 31st, 2015 the PSG to SOE manual migration process is no longer available.'. So yeah, need to create an entirely new account and can't transfer anything from my old one.

Anyone on EU side? How are you people enjoying crossplay so far? The US server still haven't been merge yet. The Devs are working out the bugs from the EU merge.

DC Universe Online unlocks cross-play between all its platforms

February 5, 2016 32 Comments

Heists, prison breaks, and new friends are the topic du jour of DC Universe Online. Episode 21 is out today for members (and available to buy on February 10th for you sidekicks), bringing with it a duo to thwart a museum heist in Gotham, an eight-person prison break, and plenty of new gear and collectibles.

Perhaps the most interesting feature to come with Episode 21 is the ability to connect with others across the game’s three platforms. Cross-play is now available between the PC, PlayStation3, and PlayStation 4, although accounts will remain beholden to specific platforms.

“When you log in today, you will seamlessly be playing with players on the opposite platform, including in groups, in leagues, in on duty content, and in the open world,” Daybreak said.

What does the membership packages include, for how much and which do you all have? I had the game a year ago or so and just had the basic free to play membership and so a lot has probably changed.

When it finally releases on X1, I might get a premium membership.

If you're on PC, you can always take advantage of the Steam sales.
