DC Universe Online : Episode 19 to Land Later this Fall

Daybreak Game Company has revealed that Episode 19: The Demon's Plan for DC Universe Online will be arriving later this fall. In Episode 19,

the League of Assassins storyline will be brought to a conclusion and new solo and group content will be included as well. The new update will be free to Station members or players can purchase it on release.

New Four-Player Alert: The Demon’s Plan – Heroes must join forces with Black Canary to infiltrate Ra’s al Ghul’s infamous mountain fortress of Nanda Parbat and rescue Green Arrow, while Super-Villains work with Heat Wave to rescue Captain Cold.
New Solo: Deep Desires – An epilogue to Episode 17’s Unholy Matrimony, players must face off alone against Trigon’s demonic sons, Julius and Jesse - masters of the deadly sins of gluttony and envy, respectively - as they battle for power in Trigon’s absence.

Daybreak has just announced that Episode 19 of DC Universe Online is coming later this Fall. It’s a major content update that adds new solo and group activities, plus it wraps up the League of Assassins storyline.
There’s a new four-player alert called The Demon’s Plan in which gamers unite with Black Canary to storm Ra’s al Ghul’s mountain fortress to rescue Green Arrow. New solo stuff includes Deep Desires, which is an epilogue to Episode 17’s Unholy Matrimony content and pits players against Trigon’s demonic sons.
Episode 19 will be a free download for subscribers. Free-to-play types may purchase it in the DCUO cash shop.

Daybreak Game Company has announced the release of Episode 19 for DC Universe Online. This latest update brings some cool new content for both solo players and groups.

The Demon's Plan is a 4-player alert where players join up with Black Canary to rescue Green Arrow and Captain Cold. Deep Desires is a solo challenge and the first part of the epilogue to Episode 17: Unholy Matrimony.

No. Tried but couldnt get into it. Not a fan of the visuals and thought the controls and UI were bad. I did like the character creation though. Overall, I prefer Marvel Heroes as my superhero MMO

I just started playing this game on PS4 last week after CC was talking about it in the lounge. It's still early going yet as my hero is only on level 11, but I'm enjoying it so far. Kinda surprising if there's not already a SHH league. I mean if there was, I doubt it would be too active now since the game's been out forever and barely anybody plays anymore, but I would have expected there to be one when it first came out at least.

DC Universe Online makes fifth anniversary plans

Daybreak’s DC Universe Online is about to turn five years old, believe it or not, and the studio is planning a pair of streams (and more than a pair of player gifts) to celebrate the occasion.

“Happy 5th Anniversary, DCUO! January 11, 2011, still seems like just yesterday to a lot of us, but come Monday DCUO will be celebrating the big fifth birthday as a live game. Make sure you log into the game to celebrate (and claim your anniversary gifts!), and make sure you tune into Kinda Funny Games for TWO news-filled livestreams to see what’s planned for DCUO in 2016.”

The more pertinent of the two streams is the one that begins at 4:30 p.m. EST on Monday; it will include a walkthrough of Daybreak’s plans for the game in 2016 as well as a playthrough of selected Episode 21 content.

Unfortunately not. That's what I love about FFXIV. It has cross platform play between the PS3, PS4 and PC. DCUO only has cross platform play between the PS3 and PS4, and PC is closed off.

Cross play is coming Jan 25th.

PS4 and PC cross-play coming this month.

DC Universe Online will come to Xbox One this spring, Daybreak Game Company executive creative director Jens Andersen announced on the Kinda Funny Games live stream.



Xbox One users will not be able to transfer their characters over from existing platforms, Andersen clarified.


Daybreak also announced that cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PC users is coming on January 25.


DC Universe Online is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. It celebrates its fifth anniversary this year.
