I love the suggestion of Madsen for Bullock.
Hell yeah:Madsen would be badass as Bullock. An unkempt, "dont play friendly" good cop. Smoking (Madsens trademark) a ciggie, while holding a half empty liquor bottle in one hand and a smoking gun in the other. Firing it at an attempted rapist, before heading off into the night to fight more crime...Goosebumps at that.
Madsens bad boy image would be a cool new twist for Bullock, taking away his sloppy look that was giving to Flass.
Madsen would be good, but Ray Winstone would rock..he's essentially Jack Nicholson's Bullock in "The Departed"
but I want Nolan to keep Stephens..he'd be the perfect foil for Bullock to play off of
Stephens isn't crooked.Why? he's dirty cop.
Should the obnoxious, but very efficient detective be involved in the manhunt for the Dark Knight?
Would you like to see him included and portrayed by who?
Winstone doesn't need to have an American accent IMO..I think his accent would give Bullock's character another interesting facet, and t would give Gotham a sort of melting pot aspect which would give the city itself more depth
What about Fred West??
Just a thought
Not every single detail of a character has to be exactly like in the comics. Especially for a "minor" character(or whatever you want to call it).I'm English actually.
And Bullock is an American character, right?
You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a picture of this guy...type in Fred West and all you get is the serial killer:

Color of the hair, height, and age are all relatively small details, depending on the character. But Bullock is clearly portrayed as an inner-city denizen. I mean, if you describe 3-5 top traits, his accent or place of origin would be right up there. Not every single detail of a character has to be exactly like in the comics. Especially for a "minor" character(or whatever you want to call it).
Fred West (the actor, not the serial killer) would have made a great Wolverine (the X-Men character, not the animal) circa SOUTHERN COMFORT (the movie, not the liqueur).
Fred Ward. I had actually cast him as Tony Zucco in a fan-made screenplay I did earlier this year.Sorry Guys, try this one:
