Another employee recently quit and I told the boss that the former employee had told me her reasons via Facebook. The boss told another employee about what I said and this one was surprised that I didnt tell her that I was Facebook friends with the former worker.

I said honestly, not meaning to be cruel, "I didnt think you needed to know." She got into a huff and didnt speak to me for the rest of the night, even after I apologized if it seemed that I had been rude. She was red in the face at times and I think she had been crying. She does that sometimes.

Frankly, it is none of her business who I talk to online.

I got sick of her feeling sorry for herself one time and told her that the world does not revolve around her and her problems. I dont think she spoke to me for a few days. This was after she was whining about the boss's daughter crying that her fiance had suddenly dumped her. The co-worker wanted to talk to the boss to tell him that she wasnt feeling well and wanted to go home, but the daughter was "blubbering all over the place."
