It was just a brain fart.

Lets not lynch someone again, Khell! *Eyes Kaboom*

I've never seen him use telekinesis. As for the fire thing, ever since the Fernus story, Martian Manhunter has only been weak to fire with a "negative" emotional attachment, like the fire of an arsonist or something.

So whats the blue shield that him and the other green martian have made?what are they from?and what can they do?

So when did it stop being against the rules for people not participating in a match to debate? I've seen X make two comments now in two separate threads that he, really, has no business making. You're not supposed to make the points for either side. Heck, up until voting, you're expected to not make any points at all besides an assessment of writing skill.

This weeks just about as dead as any has ever been.

Get back to me when when 1/4th the people in this thing actually show up and participate. :o

Until then I'll add some semblance of activity to things.

Hate to be a *****, but no you won't. It's against the rules.

Wait, it is? I thought that at some point everyone was allowed to comment on the fights.

If you ask me this whole schedule is screwey. I mean, I'm supposed to pick next week's line-up before the voting has even started for the previous week?!

Well no one did ask you, so go make me a sandwich, woman.

I agree with LV. It's awkward to have to worry about the next week's match while the current match is still ongoing. It's not a big deal, though.

Everyone can comment once voting begins, I think. Before that, only owners can comment because they're supposed to be debating points made in their write-ups.

Voters are only supposed to give their comment when they cast their vote. There's no need for anyone outside a match to debate or comment on a match otherwise. The fight is between the two owners, not everyone. The comment on the vote is supposed to give owners feedback so they can improve their writeups for the coming weeks.

Were you the kid picking your nose in the corner telling on everyone during elementary school Harl? :o

Like I said before, if the schedule is a problem, we can work on it.

It used to be that matches would end on Wednesday (or Tuesday), and lineups were due by midnight Thursday. Then matches would be posted by Friday.

But people started complaining about not having time between lineups and matches to get ready. So lineups were due a day earlier, and gave everyone Thursdays off (unless you wanted to start writing ahead of time).

Then everyone wanted more time for reading and voting, so matches started ending a day later. Eventually, matches started ending the day before the next match started.

So that's why we now have lineups due Wednesday, but voting ending Friday.

No, but people doing other people's work for them bugs the **** out of me.

Gotta agree with Harl. It's each owner's responsibility to bring up whatever points are relevant to their battles, not other people's. It is a part of the rules, too.

Figure I might as well try and get discussion of some sort going to liven this thread up a little.

Okay, going to try and make a case. For the Super Skrull.

I still believe he should be an elite middleweight, and here be the reasons.

First of all, regardless of his powers on paper, tell me if he looks like uber material here, against the Gray Hulk, fighting him on more or less even terms. This isn't the Skrull fighting like an idiot, he's using his powers intelligently and in conjunction with one another.

Seems to be at a disadvantage against Ravenous, who Ronan would beat moments later. The same Ronan that's in this thing as an elite Middleweight.

Beaten by the Silver Surfer with a single punch.

Speaking of Ronan, we've seen him do far better against the combined Fantastic Four than The Super Skrull has.

The Invisible Woman ALONE has beaten the Super Skrull.

Thoughts?

We allow mid-range power copiers & adaptors in as middleweights, right?

The Answer and the powered Taskmaster come to mind.

Super Skrull has four powers. He does NOT have the advantage that the FF has because of teamwork, meaning he's not as effective as them.

Nor is he as skilled as they are in the uses of their powers, as proven by the Invisible Woman alone beating him, badly. He's simply ruthless with them.

He's got four good powers, but we've got middleweights just as powerful as he is in here.

The mid-range speedsters like Jay Garrick? Ronan?

Absolutely no one is going to use the Super Skrull as an uber. He's useless, showing a clear power deficiency to every true uber he's fought, from Thor to the Silver Surfer.

Not to mention Iron Man and Dr. Doom are middleweights.

Freakin' Monica Captain Marvel.

The Vision.

Mimic, who's got more powers than the Super Skrull on top of the ability to copy others.

He can speed up evolution too, among other weird things.

Thoughts on my Super Skrull proposition?

B&T as a whole should be an evident sign that Thor gets some kind of boost from Warrior Madness.

Not to mention that he couldn't beat Him normally, and then upon going into WM he took him apart.

He showed TK when, you know... He lifted a guy telekinetically and threw him.

Blood and Thunder seemed to owe more to the fact that Thor was bat-**** insane and everybody he fought was trying to help him, as I recall. I certainly don't remember him displaying much of the tenfold increase in strength that Warrior Madness supposedly gives him. I always took that as a bit of hyperbole rather than an accurate measure of his increased power.
