EVERYTHING Black Panther - Part 3

My taste in women is, of course, my own. But that woman has a stunning face to me. I actually see her more playing a younger version of T'challa's mother though, for some reason. Especially with the short hair.

If Shuri isn't in it, then she would be perfect for the role of his mother.

I think I may have found my choice for T'Chaka:

And Raymonda:

I always thought Whitaker would have made an excellent M'Baku back in the day. Hell, he can probably still do it. The man is an excellent actor. His portrayal of Idi Amin was crazy good, .

I wonder if Black Panther is the mystery film slated for July 8, 2016 slot. It'd be like the character's 50th anniversary.

Chiwetel Ejiofor would make the perfect T'Challa. If they cast him as Black Panther then I wouldn't mind them making that film over Inhumans or Doctor Strange in 2016/2017. Especially since they need to get him before he gets too big/booked up and/or too old. He's the ripe age right now for the role at 36.

Yea, I think at this point, pretty much everyone here is pulling for Marvel to give Ejiofor the call.

Indeed. Ejiofor and Forrest Whitaker could anchor an incredible, incredible cast.

Nope. Excellent actor, but they should go younger with Panther.

Dang, I used to feel that way too. I'm a bit over it somehow...

I chose Forrest for T'Chaka because my first three options are already in MCU (Heimdall, Korath and Kurse). Plus he's a damn good actor.

I may choose to put up my full cast ideas later, if anyone is interested.

I have someone else in mind for Man Ape.

I'm interested.

For me the most important ideas are about the themes and storyline of the movie, which are hard to predict without knowing what exactly the status quo might be after Phase II, how much might involve Wakanda or what have you.

Still, Black Panther should do cool stuff. I like talking about those things.

An easy way to do it will be to have ultron's body being made out of some kind of weaponized vibranium. The avengers will presumably have a hell of a time trying to penetrate that shell leading them to believe they need much better info about this mysterious metal. Enter Wakandan scientists.

Or T'Chaka... there's hardly any way to tell just which way they'll go, if any with Ultron's armor. That's all I'm saying.

If T'Chaka is in the film and dies fighting Ultron, that would set up the Black Panther film to go one way. If you just have a cameo by a nameless Wakandan scientist, that would be a completely different way.

Ejiofor would be a good choice. He's slightly older than how I picture T'Challa, but not so much as to be wrong for the part. I'd like to see Djimon Honsou or Michael Jai White as T'Chaka. Whitaker for M'Baku is also a cool idea, he certainly looks the part.

Djimon Hounsou is Korath in GOTG. Marvel is not averse to recasting, but they are against having the same actor play two different characters in MCU unless one of those characters is a voiceover.

Stan Lee once again says that BP is being made by marvel

Right now, the people at Marvel are looking through our whole list of candidates and wondering which ones are we going to use now, said Stan Lee when asked who he would most like to see who hasn't made it to the big screan yet They are going to do the Black Panther. They are going to use Doctor Strange. They are going to do Ant-Man. They are going to do the Guardians of the Galaxy. And they’ll probably do the Inhumans.

I was thinking Viggo Mortensen for Klaw myself.

Hm, if he says it like that, really hoping it happens now. They need to get Ejiofor now because after 12 Years a Slave he's going to be in high demand. In fact, he's that perfect kind of "up and coming actor on the verge of stardom". He would be one of the most talented they've worked with so far though, and if he wins an Oscar for 12 Years a Slave they need to get him asap.

I like Viggo for Klaw, could be really cool. With Ejiofor and Whitaker that could be very, very cool. Another thing I'd like to see is Alan Tudyk for Everett Ross:

Might be too much Firefly-flavor, but I personally would enjoy it.

I also think they should keep the whole 'Black Panther beats up heroes' angle, which is always one of the most powerful parts of his first appearance. Perhaps save it for when he gets into Avengers, but it's so, so very cool, you gotta keep it.
