Game of Thrones - HBO part 2 - Part 1

Good stuff, I didn't think anything could top the Wire as my favorite HBO series but this just might. We have a long way to go though before I can make that call.

April 1st can't get here soon enough.

That looked amazingly entertaining. The cinematography, especially for a TV show, was jaw dropping and Tyrion and Arya (my favorite characters of the second book) rocked their lines.

Though I did catch that they are replacing Riverun in the show with just a war camp and it looks like the castles of Pyke and Dragonstone are being replaced by very amazing, but sparse coastlines. Still, if they cut those corners to pay for an epic battle in Blackwater at the end, it will be worth it.

Looks SOOOO good!!! I don't think I've ever looked forward to April so much - Game of Thrones, Mad Men (technically the last week of March, whatevs), Cabin in the Woods, and all the Avengers hype. Bring it on.

I love that use Varys' riddle for the trailer, I'm just pleased once again by how much lines from the book is left intact for the show. And the shot to Tyrion smirking, brilliant. Why can't the new season arrive any more faster?

I wouldnt call that cheap. I'll wait till the BR is at least $30 to jump on it but I definetly will be looking out for it

I'm still getting my Blu ray of it at Best Buy, I want the "Stark" family edition one. Though the "Targaryen" family one looks great too. But I'm glad Best Buy matched Amazon's price, 45 bucks is a great price for it.

Lannister probably has the best design, but if I buy this DVD set I'll have to go for the House that I'm rooting for, which is Stark.

Why would they have either house as a set? The Greyjoys aren't important in the first book and the Freys aren't a major house.

I bet as seasons go on they will have the other families. I was torn between the two covers, but I do like the Stark family one a little bit better.

I went with the Targaryan edition even though I am a fan of the Starks im just as much a fan of the Targaryans.
