What ? A blackguard will use his body Tauntaun style ?
No wonder his father casted him away. The guy is good at nothing.
Solid episode, I love seeing the dragons grow, the giant was kinda cool, and holy sh** there must be a meme of that guy's nipple getting ripped out.
Selmy is a good guy and more trustworthy than Mormont. Unlike Mormont he is there because of duty and devotion. Mormont is there cause he loves Khalisee in a not so professional way. Its going to cause tension from Mormont towards Selmy.
In the books you get to hear his thoughts and the guy is on the level.

Qyburn is indeed with The Brave Companions/The Bloody Mummers but what you talk about that can still sort of play out. It's actually that company that takes Harrenhal for Roose in the second book but I suspect that Roose will just have his own men, not any sellsword companies, in the show.
The change that did annoy me was how badly they delivered on the cliffhanger from last season by not showing the battle. I know they can't have a Blackwater every season, much less for a first scene, but in terms of narrative storytelling, it is such an annoying thing that they should have not shown an entire Walker army if the aftermath is all off-screen.
Well, that cupbearer wasn't involved in the death of the one thing Tywin ever really loved. Also, the Tywin and Tyrion scene was great, even if it is so ridiculous that he'd treat a cupbearer better than his own son. My thoughts.
I get the Boltons mixed up. So, who was the guy with the leaches in the book? That was Roose? Later in the books [blackout]where is it that Reek is kept? I thought it was Harenhal, but now that I think about it, they don't go there until Ramsay's wedding.[/blackout]
I don't mind that one. I'd much rather they save their budget for the more important battles to come involving main characters. I feel bad that Sam didn't send any ravens. In the books doesn't he at least get off one jumbled note and the rest of the ravens take off noteless?

Also, I wonder [blackout]how they'll handle Theon's storyline. I have to think they won't go the entire season without him popping up, but you never know. That's another thing similar to the Selmy situation, too. Even if they totally mess Alfie Allen up (which I doubt they'll go all out and knock his teeth out), he's still going to be instantly recognizable.[/blackout]
Next episode could have some significant action, depending on how they decide to draw things out. We could see [blackout]the Jaime/Brienne fight and Dany's sack of Astapor in the same episode.[/blackout] Though I suspect they'll hold off for an episode or two on at least one of those bits.
I assume it's more because he killed his wife than him being a dwarf.
I don't know if Tywin's views are even the "norm" in Westeros. No one seemed to have a problem with him being the Hand (besides Cersei). So, maybe it's just Tywin being a dick, and no one else really cares that he has a disability.
Yeah i'm kinda interested to see what kind of deals some of the stars of the show have? I'm assuming since most of the cast were unknowns when they were hired they probably had minimal deals in place but since the show sort of exploded i wonder how that works now?
If this was a network show we'd probably hear more of the behind the scene deets.
It's just my suspicion that at least one or two in the cast are going to have a chance to break out into film soon.
Joffrey may not be kinder or smarter, but I got the sense that the experience at Blackwater humbled him somewhat. He now seems more willing to stay in his high-chair and be quiet while the adults do the work. But it's clear why he was behaving almost reasonably. Needless to say, his intentions aren't pure, but neither are her's I suppose.
