I hope some people record their non-book reader friends' reaction. When it rains, it pours.

Yeah, I reckon the internet is going to explode tonight.

Tonight's episode is not for the feint of heart. I know what's happening and I'm still dreading it.

man I can't wait for tonights episode, all the talk on the boards has me excited!

Tonight is when the Lannisters lose their precious Casterly Rock. Onto war! :awesome: I hope Robb does some serious soul-searching after he wins - he needs to make sure that he never repeats his crazy mistake again.

Yea seriously. But didn't they find a whole pack of Obsidian? can't remember.

Yeah, Sam & Grenn found a stash of them, along with some kind of horn. A ranger buried all that stuff.

I feel like I've waited my whole life for this episode.

And it's going to happen again... and again...

:BA
Or at least we hope so. I am still wondering if the fans will grow bored before the whole series is done. I've already known two people who really struggled with this third season. :(

Season 1 >> season 3 >> season 2 IMO so far.

But 3 might take the throne...who knows

Seasons 1 and 3 are neck and neck for me, mainly because the third book is my favorite. I thought season 2 was great when it aired, and it in a lot of ways it is, but looking back now, season 3 is leagues ahead of it.

yeah I know some as well, they both complain of how little ''action'' there has been :whatever::doh:

for me its

1.season 1
2.second half of season 2
3.season 3
4.first half of season 2

that was a Dexter reference :cmad: :woot:

I always see this show as a drama first (even though I need action to switch things up and highlight a point of conflict). Anyways...

Go, Robb. I'm rooting for you. The Freys - with their largest army - have your back too! Crush the Lion's Den! :awesome:

Oh, so this episode is happening tonight? :wow:

Call me crazy, but I got none of that when reading the books. I know there were many things mentioned, and the future is bound to give him some good stuff, but I don't really remember him actually doing a whole lot in the books. Maybe I just checked out during a lot of the Iron Born chapters.

Meh. After looking it up, I was mixing up Euron and Victarion. Still, though, the only real badass thing I remember him doing [blackout]was just flat out catching a sword swinging at his head by hand.[/blackout] Other than that, I don't remember anything significant. I wouldn't really consider [blackout]killing his wife[/blackout] badass.

I'd say
the entire war scene with him leading the men against the roses, decked out in full plate an armour, jumping onto the enemy ship, axe in hand "Come! Come kill me if you can!" before carving up the Reach lords like they're nothing. As well as catching the Sword. Then the unstoppable force him becomes in ADWD when he embraces R'hllor, casually committing acts of brutality on the trip to Meereen, capturing dozens of Ghiscari ships and adding them to his fleet. It's all so energetic and high octane, it reminds me of something Robert E Howard would write.

Damn, that was pretty brutal.
