Great trailer. I am hoping as teh show goes on Ollie kind of finds his old self again and basically becomes a merger of new and old so we dont get Bruce Wayne 2.0.

Deathstroke's mask looks pretty good, I'm wondering if they will give him a full costume because I would be fine with military attire instead, would probably fit with the tone better.

I hope they don't hold off too long on letting Dinah/Laurel in on Ollie's secret or making her Black Canary. That would kinda be a buzzkill.

The issues I have are that Ollie seems to have a really bland personality in this, and also:

Man the new cw is keeping me surprised with the continue buzz/press on the green arrow series. Great to get another preview. Looks very good. Some nice little teases into the show from the pilot. Can't wait to see it in a few months.

Squirral the lex mansion is a famous tv/film landmark/shooting location in canada. So its used for a lot if different things. And from the looks of it its just the queen's family home. And ollie looks to have his own apartment. So I see no issue with it being used agin in a tv show. Like I said before we are bound to see some other popular vancouver area stuff we seen in sv/bsg/other canada made shows. Same goes with any canadian guest stars they get on the show.

As for deathstroke if we get to see him fully down the road I would keep the mask as we saw. If he was the one to put hit on ollie that would be a cool plot to go with. As for his outfit I could see them going with let's say a basic black military outfit, decked out with some kevlar vest/padding in arms/legs. Them him toting various small knifes and guns. Simple and easy to go. And they can just go he is a former/ex military gu throw out of what ever branch he was in. And don't really need to say he was enhanced if they don't want meta stuff.

Also liked we saw what looked like a bomb arrow. If we can get that in pilot. I see no reason why we won't get some other tech arrows during the show too. Nothing to crazy like punching glove arrow. But emp arrow, a tazer arrow, and some sort of net/glue arrow, and knockout gas arrow is all I really like to see done.

That has been pointed out from one of the other previews. I would hope that is just an earlier mask idea ollie uses in pilot. And extends it in later episodes with something more consealing. But we will have to wait and see.

they seem to be playing Ollie more like PTSD than just acting like Bruce did.

I noticed Darren Shahlavi in the new trailer, my first thought was that he was gonna be playing Deathstroke but according to IMDB he plays Constantine Draken. He's a cool actor though so it's fun to see him on the air.

Edit: Or maybe they're planning a DC vs. MK live action mashup and he's really gonna be playing Kano

Yeah constantine drakon is really cool. He has been written as someone that can catch multiple arrows and he can easily catch Ollie's arrows when shot at him. I think.

I just dont want DS to wear orange underwear on the outside. Itll look ridiculous and yeah it would be cool to see all the trick arrows and stuff. I really like the mini arrows that he is shooting at close combat.

I know Marvel have the Avengers but what the hell. We'll get to watch a whole year of arrow. Thats 24 hours compared to just 2 hours of Avengers. Plus theres Booster Gold and Deadman coming up. Im satisfied.

I agree with this post entirely. Ollie shouldn't be the goddamn Punisher.Although sleeping with his girlfriend's sister?Totally in character.

Hopefully the deaths we see him cause will be that which really pushes the police to want to take him down. It's one thing to deliver trussed up bad guys to the cops, but another thing entirely to execute them without trial (or in most cases I expect, evidence). Maybe this is what will prompt Ollie to realise he's crossed the line his father put down for him when he wished the chance to fix his mistakes - could happen as early as mid season when it becomes obvious that he's being seen not as a hero, or even someone doing that which the police can't, but as a cold blooded killer
