Well this show isn't holding anything back in terms of bringing DC characters, namely villains, into the fold. Which is great because they need to pull in fans instead of holding off.

I like the choices too. The only thing I am not crazy about is seeing cheap costumes as I feel for me at least, if they turn out like the smallville ones in the justice episodes, I would rather not see them. Those ones just took me out of the episode because they looked like halloween costumes. Obviously on a tv show budget you cant expect much.

Given that effects wise, arrow is on the cheaper side (probably just using CGI arrows), hopefully they use that money in the costume design. That is why I'm interested to see what they do with huntress.

I thought the costumes for the JSA episodes were pretty good for a tv show. I was pretty impressed with Dr. Fate's costume in particular.

Given the notoriety of her comic costume, I too will be waiting to see what they do. Again, I was okay with the Birds of Prey look.

I definitely dont see them doing the Jim Lee interpretation from hush, lol. Given the realistic approach, I'm not even sure they will give her a cape.

Huntress having a mask doesn't seem out of the realms of possibility given we know Deathstroke has his. I just hope they put some purple trim on her costume.

Thanks Snake for the info. I wasn't sure if she had worked on Smallville. Maybe they'll bring Simone on later... Though, I really like Johns stuff on Smallville.

Also, don't expect too much for the costume. Its going to be extremely realistic given the tone of the show. So It'll be a trench with a catwoman like outfit and lotsa gadgets and pouches. It'll also be very dark shade of purple. unless she is planning to go for halloween.

Confirmed: Dollhouse’s Tahmoh Penikett To Guest Star On Arrow

Dollhouse and Battlestar Galactica fan favorite Tahmoh Penikett will be guest starring on Arrow.

Penikett’s Facebook fan page broke the news first about his doing Arrow, and GreenArrowTV has learned that Penikett will be playing Tom Salvati, right hand man to Jeffrey Nordling’s mob boss Frank Bertinelli. Bertinelli is, of course, the father to Helena Bertinelli, who also happens to be crimefighter known as The Huntress. She first appears in Arrow Episode 7, “Muse of Fire.”

This isn’t Penikett’s first trip to the DC Universe. He played “Vince Davis” in the Season 3 Smallville episode “Resurrection,” and then played a different character, “Wes Keenan,” in two episodes of Smallville Season 6. He also can count an episode of Human Target on his resume. In addition to all of that, the Internet Movie Database lists him as playing “Henry Ackerdson” in the next Superman movie, Man Of Steel.

“Muse of Fire” should be airing in late November on The CW. Only a few weeks to go before the show’s October 10 premiere!
