Obviously it wouldn't. Same with the comic tie-ins for the Marvel movies and the tie-ins with the Green Lantern movie.

I imagine it'll be no different than the way Heroes did it back in the day. You don't need to read it to know what's happening on the show, but it does provide a fun backstory or something we wouldn't see in the series.

Just watched the Justice League Unlimited movie that featured Question and the Huntress. Interesting stuff, can't wait to see how they translate her to TV. If they keep her Gotham origins then that can tie in to a Bruce Wayne meeting.

I wonder how they're going to go about adapting her look to the series. More so than any other character, I imagine her costume is going to be really problematic with the tone of the show.

Yes, I know. But Helena Wayne actually took a girl's identity called Helena Bartinelli who is dead now. I hope this is the status co. I much prefer Helena Wayne's back story than Bartinelli, the only difference is their background, but both their characteristic are exactly the same. So I don't see a need for a duplicate.

DC has a penchant for following what the TV does, so I wouldn't be surprised if they made some sort of change in the comics. Though, what would be really cool is if this Huntress is Helena Wayne. That would knock my socks off!

I don't think they will turn her into Helena Wayne in the show because they might want to avoid having any ties to Bats. But what you're saying is true, it'll suck if DC changed things around, but I don't think so atm. Because Huntress is getting a huge boost in sales by being intrinsically linked to Batman. Worlds Finest is a top 50 book right now and that is far better than Power Girl or Huntress ever sold. Even combined.

Sugar and Spice costume is pretty amazing.

Also I'm really loving the idea of Arrow's costume and gear getting better episode after episode, season after season. Like with his bow, from what we have seen it's so simple. But a great idea would be for him to create his own combo bow similar to the one Hawkeye had in the Avengers. It would be more high tech, and he could finish it to be ready in the season finale or next season.

Then each episode or so it would be cool if he created different arrows, like a sleeping gas arrows, or a muscle numbing arrow. His suit has already been shown to be slowly upgraded, he doesn't put on his mask till later. So many possibilities, I really hope they capitalize!

Im sure they will. Trick arrows are Ollie's specialty. He started doing that first before any other archers.
Also, his bow was already upgraded in the comics.

Love love love that picture, and it extends to one of the possibilities I was talking about. Maybe I'm grasping at straws, but could that picture, could him being on that island, be foreshadowing? Maybe in a later season he grows his hair out and his beard out.
