I'm guessing HIM is one of the dad's original partners in what corrupted Starling City. The mom thought she was being a hero by getting rid of the father on the boat and ended up caught up in whatever her husband was in.

I hope they introduce Morgan Edge and Intergang.

*Yawn* No Lex please. It's just going to feel like a rehash of Smallville with Oliver facing all the same villains from that show. I think Luthor should be kept well away from this series and should establish its own set of villains, not taking one that is primarily a Superman villain.

So the mother was in on killing the father and betraying him or do you think she was used by her partner? I think she is working with the partner....lol more DC shows more secret partners argh.

I think the partner is Count Vertigo.
I think the bodyguard will find out the secret, but will either join Oliver or save his life by sacrificing his after finding out his secret...keeping the secret safe.
I think Tommy and Oliver will fight with Tommy knowing who he is. Tommy might even be on the scam with his mother.
I think the Dark Arrow will teach him how to be Green Arrow after at first thinking he is an agent of Deathstrokes.
Deathstroke will kill Dark Arrow, and GA will avenge Dark Arrow before leaving the island, making Deathstroke his enemy.

I thought the episode was ok. Didn't see much point in China White as her character could've been named anyone to me. Amell seemed better. Still don't like the voice over.

I agree. Her part seemed inconsequential and could have been given to any shmuck thug or hitman

Visually. Until she starts trying to act like one. She needs to step it up.

She needs to find that assertiveness in her voice. She is a little too sweet, even when she attempts to be mad or make a point. I think that can come over time though

Or he could have woken up and not wanted to get shot. It was long enough for the sedative to work it's way out of Ollie. Either way, ya never know until they show it. The one I'm curious about being involved though is Walter.

So, the mystery archer from the end of episode 2 is Byron Mann's character. His name is Yao Fei. Though I doubt he'll have strong connections to the DC character of the same name.
