Hans Zimmer Scoring The Man of Steel - Part 2

The ending to "Arcade" is phenomenal. Get's the adrenaline pumping!

Yeah but that isn't an actual score, it's just music being played at random scenes in the film...I hate that, and I love Ramin Djawadi's work (Game of Thrones hello?)...but the scores for the first two Iron Man films were non existent, in fact apart from a few shining tracks, most of the MCU scores have been incredibly lackluster until Brian Tyler's (this time we actually give a s***) score for IM3.

As for MOS being better...what can I say, on a bad day Zimmer is better than 85% of the guys who put out stuff, it really does seem that Zimmer works best when he's on a Nolan production and I can only imagine what he has in store for us on Interstellar.

I thought Thor had a great score to it, as well. A great measure for me is my wife. She's never been a fan of me listening to scores in the car, but she actually enjoyed Thor.

Other than that, I completely agree and, up until now, IM3 and ST:ID have dominated my iPhone.

I really liked the IM3 score and TA had a fantastic theme song. But that's really all I can say about the MCU soundtracks which is quite disappointing. Don't know why it seems like Marvel doesn't care. Now they just let the guy who was doing the Thor 2 soundtrack.

Great job with it!! Some fate of your planet trailer music with the beginning of arcade. Sweet

Oh man sounds good. Looks like someone took the music from the Nokia trailer and combined it with the ending of trailer 4. You can still sort of hear Superman's scream at the end. Can't wait to hear the full track!

According to iTunes it says Arcade is 7:25 minutes long and says track is by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. I am guessing this is a remix or alt version for trailers and not actual music for the movie? Because I don't remember the three Junkie XL tracks being in the movie.

EDIT: Oops miss the post above where TheIrishAvenger said he made it. Good job!

The Z+ app is available on the App Store...so epic... :D
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/id656392290?mt=8&affId=1860684

Awesome just downloaded and bought all of the songs! They only have seven of the songs though. Can't wait to hear the rest. But they sound amazing and you can even turn off and on the DTS so you can hear the difference. It looks like you do have to buy the physical copy of the deluxe version of CD to get the whole album. Unless they release more tracks later.

Which track plays when the costume is revealed?

In the movie?

Don't remember, but right after that Flight plays. So I guess it could've been the beginning of Flight when it gets revealed (the slow part). Wish it has been "What are you going to do when...", but they saved that for something else.

So I took a look into the Z+ app's contents and it looks like all the tracks will be downloadable in the future or at least has a .track file placement that will be replaced by a .m4a track when you get the code from the deluxe CD. Ignition track comes free so it is already converted from .track to .m4a

So the code that comes with the deluxe album will let you download the entire album in the Z+ app? I'm confused.

I believe so. Anyways the current tracks in the Z+ app that they let you purchase today are:

Oil Rig
Sent Here For A Reason
DNA
Krypton's Last
Ignition (free)
This Is Clark Kent
Flight

I tried transferring my in-app purchases to my Mac so I could share them, but it wouldn't let me do it. If anybody knows how that would be great.

Probably like a codex for dvd's J.H.

Maybe an online File converter?

LoserJBo, try an app on your PC/Mac called iFunBox? Find the app, and go to Documents/Tracks. The .ipa itself does not store the purchased tracks.

Each track (once purchased) has a .m4a version and a .dtshd version, trying to take a closer look at the latter....

And...
Just got my hands on the full OST from a close friend (nope, not posting links, and anyway it's a low bitrate MP3...still waiting till Tuesday...), sounds awesome, need to hear it in proper quality though :) Track 17 is indeed the Trailer 3 music, and Arcade is indeed the music from Trailers 4 and 5. One thing missing, is that guitar remix from the end of trailer 4...
