I am kinda of in love, and I am a straight male. :woot:

And yeah, a small little message. Very cute, very endearing. You can tell he put a lot of himself into this.
I felt in his performance that he very much cared about doing a good job.

I need more of it. 5 Superman movies, 1 World's Finest and a JL adventure. :D

I know I have been big on a World's Finest sequel, but after MoS, I really, really, really just want another Superman movie.

He had the least wordy dialogue of the main characters but he made a good Clark and Superman overall, conveying the right mix of charm and presence.

Cavill makes an excellent Kal-El/Clark/Superman. This Superman is very ailen like in character until he meets Lois who really gives him a link to humanity. I love the on screen dynamic between Lois and him.

The way he cares this film is right up their with Bale's version of Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Oh hell yes! I have just discovered that Henry Cavill's auntie goes to my wife's hairdresser!!!! Hello!!! Autograph???....

Saw it a few hrs ago at the midnight viewing.

Came into say Henry killed it! His performance as Superman (not Clark) was memorable.
But not to say that his Clark wasn't good, I'm sold on Henry.

The scene after the oil rig explosion where he is running shirtless people gasped, that is the first time I have ever seen that happen for a shirtless actor.

That's a good-looking group of dudes. :word: Even if they don't look anything like Henry. :funny:

Especially the two on the right! I can see the resemblance with the other two but not the two who are on the right side of this photo.

what a good looking family!

I'm gonna leave this young Henry gif here because it's adorable! :p

Hands down the perfect Superman to lead us to the future installment. Bring on World Finest and JL.

The scene after the oil rig explosion where he is running shirtless people gasped, that is the first time I have ever seen that happen for a shirtless actor.
My audience gasped too. Both at the scene where he is on fire and then even more loudly at the shirtless scene where he is running.

That scene is truly shocking. I mean we have seen photos and footage of Cavill shirtless but his physique is just sickening in that shot, like he has not even an ounce of fat on his body.

Is that computer enhanced in any way? If not, my respect to Cavill for building a physique that still managed to stun people in this day and age.

Cavill has convinced me he IS Superman 100% not one time in the film did I doubt him. Henry did such a fantastic job he was one of my favorite things about MOS.

Cavill was brilliant. He IS Superman now. I always believed he'd do a good job, but not even I anticipated that he'd be THAT good. He was everything a modern Superman should be. That might have been the best lead performance in a superhero film since... well, since Christopher Reeve in Superman '78. Cavill knocked it out of the park and into deep space. I hope this lands him a lot of high profile roles, and of course, sequels. I want to see Cavill play Superman in about 10 more movies.

I loved how GAWKY Cavill looked as DP Clark!! :awesome:

I thought Cavill did great throughout the film, but I felt like they went the completely wrong way about introducing the Clark Kent persona, especially from the general audience perspective of people at my showing. Clark's appearance at the Planet at the end was met with so many groans in my audience and comments like "Oh come on, and nobody recognizes him? You're kidding." This was an aspect of the mythos that needed the Nolan/Goyer Batman Begins-style explanation scene. We needed a scene like in Birthright, explaining that the disguise is more than just a pair of glasses. Perhaps showing him, Martha, and Lois developing the disguise. Hinting that it seems like Superman is at work 24/7. I don't know how they can work this naturally into the sequel. GA audience members need to have the disguise explained to them in order to buy into it all.
