To quote Miss Swan, "Ooo, I don't know he look like man." :o

When I read this:"Mr. Nolan already ruined Batman."...I stopped reading.

Well, I finished it and the tone of this entire review was scathing, bitter, angry and resentful. It sounded very unprofessional. He was clearly biased before he even saw the film. I understand he had a cameo roll in Superman: The Movie.
I think that explains it.

Cavill is the new generation superman. Certified.

ah Rex Reed......once again being the ******** we all know he is, like his opinion actually matters lol, when will he learn, no one gives a **** what he has to say? Just look at all the comments in the "review", all the proof is right there :/

so glad for the new generation. :)

Cavill should get hair restoration before they shoot the sequel, or they should get him a wig in the next movie. If they do nothing, his hairline will surely be more receded in the next movie. His hair was noticeably receding (especially when gelled down/side parted), almost straying from Superman's iconic look in this movie.

I love you Henry. You are Clark Kent, you are Superman.

Henry delivered imo, self vindication for supporting this guy the past few years. Hope there's a sequel cause I think he's got more to offer.

I was very satisfied with the power levels as portrayed in this film.

I hesitate to say believable. But hmm... aesthetically and logically pleasing. He struggled where he shouldve struggled. But he wasn't a wuss. He was actually very badass. Not too boyscout, not too patriotic. Very respectable and almost shockingly cool.

Accent was great. Costume was great. Everything was pretty great. :D

I feel vendicated as well.
He was like the one thing I thought would work from the beginning. It is nice to know he was even better then I could have hoped for all those years ago.

Still can't believe he is the jerk from the Tudors. That that guy is Superman. :funny:

Right? My sister said, "I want to see Cavill play a jerk" and I said "watch The Tudors."

I feel vindicated too. Especially with this one guy at work who's always been so dismissive of Cavill, even from way back before the casting circus, when Henry was just my favorite candidate the role. There were some moments I didn’t care for, and there’s definitely room to grow but I thought this was a solid first outing for him.

I didn't think he would get the role at all but I wanted him in the role and I was very pleased with the outcome.

He gets better over time, but that first season and half, wow. What an ass.

But I knew we were all good after Immortals. Especially the scenes with his mother. Reminded me of Clark and Martha.

My thoughts on Cavill are all over the place on here but it's appropriate to say that his performance is absolutley flawless! He nailed the part in every sense of the word that I can't get over how true he became when speaking essence of the character.

Just a wonderful performance. A+.

I thought his performance in Immortals was very encouraging as well.

It was funny, my sister hadn't seen him before the film, so had no idea what he looked like. When the little Wal-Mart message came on before the movie she was like "damn". :funny:

So the Wal-Mart screenings did have a message!

My sister already thought Cavill was hot but she's in love now. I told her, I've been in love for 2 years!

Henry made this movie. Even at the end when it was getting too CGI Matrix Revolutions-y even for me, they'd show Henry's face and everything was aaaall right. :atp:

Trying to get all the ladies to check this out just for him. :hehe:

I am kinda of in love, and I am a straight male. :woot:

And yeah, a small little message. Very cute, very endearing. You can tell he put a lot of himself into this.

A Superman movie is nothing without a great Superman. He was much more then that. We need more of him in the cape and the glasses.
