I still wish I could find out why he wanted this role so bad and why he was so dedicated to it. Is it because of Superman 78 or is Henry a comic book geek? Seeing as how he was playing a computer game when Snyder called I wonder if there is a nerd hidden inside him.

He was made to look massive and tall.

It's funny one actor here is 5'11" and one is probably under 5'10" guess which? It's not who you'd think on first glance haha...

I immediately noticed that Bane walked forward right to the edge of the step, so that Daggest HAD to be shorter than him. Tricky tricky. :hehe:

It's conversations like this that make me glad I'm 6'5. :)
Eh, having seen what tall people suffer through on planes and public transportation...I'm not. :funny:

I'm excited to se Henry in something that's not Superman related. I wasn't a fan of Immortals or Cold Light of Day but I thought HE was good in them.
I'm excited for Hammer and Cavill together.

Yeah, I can't wait for MFU. It's going to be nice seeing him in a comedy(or at least a movie full of humor) as a spy in the 60's.

As another poster said, check out The Tudors and also Blood Creek. The latter isn't a great film by any means, but Cavill does a solid job as the lead. Plus, Michael Fassbender does a good job as a Nazi zombie vampire.

It's smart to get established in other types of properties ASAP to show your range. Like Bale did. Granted Bale was already semi-known when Begins came out. Hugh Jackman is probably a better example.

The best way to avoid being typecast? Work as many jobs you can in between the sequels.

I'm really excited for the future of Henry Cavill. I see big things for him. :)

He was good in the Tudors tv show

He became good. It is actually remarkable watching him grow into a good actor on the show. Besides dodging the bullet that was SR, it was also for the best for him as an actor (not just a star) to miss that casting. He was rather stiff and unconvincing--not to mention young looking--in the first season of The Tudors but really grew into the character and as an actor.

By the end of Season 2 he was very good and in his final arcs in Season 3 and 4 (besides the dippy French romance), he was was fantastic. Besides being a good show, well besides the first season which I thought was too soapy overall as well, it was a great learning experience for him as well.

I'm excited for Henry.
Nice that a *seems like it* genuinely nice guy after being so unlucky for so long is finally getting success.

Yeah he was really good in The Tudors, but then so was everyone else. The Tudors is one of my all time favourite tv series.

i read an interview that Henry can actually sing very well. is it true?

Yeah Cavill easily wins this round. Hemsworth got a very normal gym fit physique. It looks very blocky - big guns, flat pecs, flat abs. Where's the aesthetics?

Look at Cavill, a powerfully accentuated V shape, sculpted pecs, bulging abs and shredded like a sick mother****er. You can see that his body was very carefully trained and painstakingly achieved instead of the dumb lifting that would result in Hemsworth's physique.

I think Cavill's physique was more difficult to achieve and I would rather work towards that than Hemsowrth's physique.

Keep in mind that Cavill probably did some reps before doing that scene. Hemsworth is very relaxed. It makes a big difference for a photo.

So finally found my answer to why Henry wanted Supes so bad; he is a comic book nerd. But he likes the New 52 so he is now dead to me now.

henry never read comics growing up he just wanted the role and he never said anything about the new 52 no clue where you picked that from

here is the material he read for MOS

IMDB is where I got it. Says he didn't read comics growin up but is a fan of them.
" His favorite Superman story lines and the ones he used for inspiration are "Death Of Superman", "Return Of Superman", "Superman: Red Son" and "Earth-One". He is also a big fan of Grant Morrison's "New 52" work"

Seeing as how they listed the same ones you did I am guessing their info isn't necessarily false.
