Yep Clark was naked in the novel, if it had been in the movie it would have been the first Superman movie to be rated R. And I'd be ok with that.

^ It happened in the novelization, I heard.
The Man of Steel by Greg Cox
I didn't know there was a junior novel.
So you know if its available for digital download and where can I find it?
Kryptonite vagina I guess
Part of the iconic imagery in the comics is Superman's costume getting shredded during battle. It would be pretty awesome to see on screen, with some of the costume torn away, it adds a very human element to his struggle and effort and you realize there is a real man underneath it all. (Death of Superman did it the best).LOL, I think that was a subtle nod to Birthright. In the first half of that story, Clark's shirt strangely disappears a various points when he's saving people. And even after he puts the suit on, he gets the "S" ripped off during a battle, exposing his manly pectorals once again.
Good one!t:
It seems it was not a good match after all.
But let's say everything was true: it's over and honestly, it makes me happy
(Hey, Henry if you read me, choose a girl like me next timeHollywood couple don't seem to work
t: )
Now, I just wonder if he's gonna be chosen for the role of
I would like to see him in a Bond suit!! Totally buy it!
But would that mean he would not have time to play in MOS??
Because if he plays in MOS for the two other sequels...
I wonder if he will have time for something else...
I can't imagine Superman be changed. Nobody can replace Henry.
The sequence was cut. I think the Oil Rig scene was definitely shortened. Its a very expensive scene, very expensive special effects with **** blowing up. It was also Cavill's big shirtless scene, doing the action and being a badass and all. There were numerous set photos of him in a singlet and even production images. And in the movie we get none of that, we get instead just a 1 and 1/2 minute sequence. We never saw him on screen with the wet undershirt that he's wearing in all of those set pics, either.
Something like he was entirely wet but some oil spilled on his shirt, so only that burnt off. Eitherways it would have been really cool seeing him with his shirt burning off him.The shirt burning off would have been cool, but you know people would scream PLOT HOLE that the pants didn't burn off as well. His pants were damaged but not much, they must be going the "everything on superman is indestructible" route.
I also don't think this kind of suit is going to be getting torn at all, it isn't made from human material.
Oh the rating is fine. Butt can be shown in PG13 movies. Brave was PG and it showed butts. Also, PG-13 rating. Sure they could imply it with awkward camerawork, maybe even show a bum, but that would take it out of the "family" category![]()

I'm sure there are other places, but you can find it in amazon too

And let's not forget that this scene is from a PG13 movie which is MOS's rating. This scene was even put in the green band trailers.

I hope he doesn't get typecast. Reeve, Reeves, Welling, Cain....I don't know of any Superman actor who's overcome that yet.
