^ I felt like Skyfall got the critical "bump" of lowered expectations from QoS. I also think MOS2 will have a critical "bump" as well, especially if the filmmakers take the criticisms of MOS to heart and also make Superman something that nostalgic critics can attach to, through more Metropolis, Lois, the Planet, and humor. Though MOS2 should never become campy, nor obviously derivative.

I think its discrediting the critics to say that they don't like reboots if they aren't like the earlier one. Batman and Spiderman were rebooted and got good reviews.

Even though I am a fan of Snyder and Cavill and somewhat like the movie, I will have to say that it is rather thoughtlessly conceived and written. The story and screenplay are exceptionally poor and don't quite seem to know what they want to do.

My most ardent recommendation for the sequel would be to please chuck Goyer and if possible Nolan and have someone else write the script, someone who can write good dialog and I hope they think through what they are making, it shouldn't be half baked and still born like MOS.

While they are at it, they should chuck out Zimmer too, his scores have no flair and simply deaden everything with their seriousness.

People get thrown to buildings in Avengers too, but its okay, they are sorta funny moments so you don't think about it, and the scenes are clever. But in MOS, the fights are shown in a monumental way, in a a very serious way, you simply can't help noticing the absolute massacre and death this is happening around every time a building smashes or topples. The serious tone kinda brings to the fore how inappropriate it is.

I seriously for heaven's sake say **** all this serious ********, and just make an exuberant paean to this most wonderful of all characters in a joyous rousing way. I think the shadow of the Batman films on MOS has been its undoing and debacle.

^ John Powell for MOS2. I feel like there should be SOME seriousness to the MOS, and that there SHOULD be a real-world setting for at LEAST the second film. BUT I think MOS3 should be extremely comicbookish with a Superman/Batman as a segway in between tones.

Some people dislike MOS because they think they should have kept the original music. Since this day, I don't listen to fan reviews anymore.
According to some, it's because there are too much action scenes.
Some others complaint against Lois and Clark relationship because it should have been the same.

Some say Henry has taken steroids. I chose to believe him when he said he did not.
Actually, they tend to be jealous of his body....
I've seen on youtube a video about a girl who said she want to loose weight thanks to Henry. (you know, "Fat Cavill" story).


To come back to the original subject, I think Henry was awesome, like some others think too and we all hope to see him again. He has a lot of fans now and if he wants to be Bond, I'll support him.
I wonder how some people can find him unattractive.
To me, the only thing I dislike was the fact he was with a girl just after the premieres
(and we're not even sure about that)

I think that was the whole point. Their goal was to make what was happening seem real.

The serious tone was appropriate, there just wasn't enough light moments to help balance it out. That's what should be done for the sequel. You can have joy and seriousness in one film.

And that's right that Henry's neck (the hump) is noticeable. ^^! (his only default, and sometimes I tend to forget it because his face is so beautiful that in some scenes, you don't particularly see this little problem)

"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans should be delighted by a recent interview given by fan-favorite Henry Cavill. In the interview he is asked whether or not he feels playing in a movie like "Fifty Shades of Grey" would be something he was interested since the character would be drastically different than Superman. The "Man of Steel" actor didn't exactly say yes but definitely hinted that playing Christian Grey would not be a problem for him.

"As an actor I don't think it should stop me from doing roles which may be great stories," Cavill said in the interview. "I'm very much a storyteller, I enjoy telling stories and if there is a wonderful story to tell than I don't think having played the role of Superman will necessarily stop me from telling that story. The chances are it will very much be a different vehicle than what Superman is, so it won't damage any of that character...because they'll see two very different things on screen."

This isn't the first time Cavill has spoken about the movie. Back in May he discussed during a press conference saying that at the time he was never approached about doing the movie.

"Put it this way, I've not read a script, spoken to a producer or a director," he said in the May press conference the International Business Times reports. "Not exactly chaste writing is it. I've always preferred the implied sex scene anyway, because having it spelled out always seems a bit tacky. Sex is so readily available to us in every form of media now, so it's no longer that exciting on screen."

The 30-year-old British came under a lot of fire from "Fifty Shades" fans for that comment but from his recent interview it seems he may have had a change of heart about the role. Regardless of how he feels about the movie, Cavill has remained a top contender to play Christian Grey along with Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer.

In the video he also said he'd be glad to come back quickly and play Superman again.

Trash is being nice to the series. There was a comment on the Amazon reviews that had me rolling because it broke down the most repeated phrases in the books and how many times they had been used. One person wrote that will all the money that the author has made that perhaps she could use the funds to purchase a thesaurus.
