The Dark Knight Rises In hindsight what changes would you do - Part 1

It's basically the opposite for me. When I look at the trilogy as a whole, TDKR is an excellent, worthy and fulfilling conclusion. When I look at them as separate movies though, TDKR is the one that stands on its own the poorest. That being said, I can't really hold that against it seeing as it's the third movie and the one that concludes the series.

It's not a surprise you like TDKR. Of course you would like to idea of Bruce passing on the mantle :p.

Probably my favorite Batman moment in TDK. He's just so cold and fixated on finding the Joker at all costs. Even when Lucius tells him he will walk, Bruce just tells him "type in your name" and walks off, lol. Great scene.

Agreed. And I think that line is strengthened by all the critics who accused the film of supporting the Patriot Act. It just gives you an idea of how many people in general would disagree with Batman's way of doing things if he was real.

And speaking of Bruce's paranoia, it's not like he just trusts Dent to be his successor right off the bat. He asks Gordon if he trusts him, then in the next scene we see Bruce in the bat-bunker watching some video footage of Dent. Alfred mentions to him that he's pretty much legit, yet Bruce says that he is watching him; closely, to see if he can be trusted. It's not until he has dinner with Dent, Rachel and Natasha, that Bruce starts to believe in the Harvey Dent hype.

Then Bruce reassigned R&D without even telling Lucius. And when Fox asks him, Bruce tells him that he's playing this one close to the chest.

So yeah, I think he was plenty paranoid and non the less crime fighter-savvy in TDK.
