Why doesn't he replace his Brother, Goyer, Zimmer, and Pfister too? Yeah, they're always a successful team and they've turned out something unique every time, but it's not an original choice. Exactly. I think the choice is sound, with Alberto you get a maskless freak who started off as a mob. Not bad for getting more for the price of one.

Somehow I think it will be the other way around, especially if we consider the Holiday Killer and Alberto. I'm guessing Alberto will be the one who voluntarily seeks out the implication.

I'm actually starting to warm to the Alberto idea. And when Batman 4 comes out (loose sequel) it could then have Black Mask vs Penguin in a mob territory war, and muscle from wither side kills the Flying Graysons.

This should be a very interesting take on it. I recently re-read some of Long Halloween in the library, and Alberto's got that somewhat meek vibe going, yet you know there is more to it. Curious to see what JGL does with it.

Most Batman fans have been guessing JGL was going to play Alberto Falcone or Black Mask for quite sometime. It's great casting!

Variety were the ones who were saying they thought he would play Deadshot or Riddler!

Also, the prestige magic trick comparisons are silly. That was a plot point for that movie not for nolan's approach to trilogies which we don't know anyway bc he's never done one before.

He's not saying Nolan is structuring his films purposefully in that manner with the intention of using that exact structure.. It's a valid comparison because that's an analogy for how show business works. Many artists create things that can be compared to the Pledge, Turn, Prestige format because that's how most fiction is formatted.

Don't be contrary just because you can invalidate a point. That's silly.

Ah, true! In a sense Alberto really is like a bridge between classic mobster and modern-day supervillain. A mob-boss with perhaps a few lessons from the Michael Corleone from God Father I , with a lot more sensational evilness thrown in.

I hope he does. Deep purple shades aren't exactly gaudy. It might look rather stylish with a decent Armani. Not that I'd know anything about expensive clothing or bourgeoisie fashion

Well someone is complaining about Nolan basically bringing back a majority of the actors from Inception to be in TDKR. It is silly for someone to be upset by that because if they are talented actors and can play a part well then they should play it. Just because the worked with a director before shouldn't invalidate their talent or validity. Martin Scorsese is definitely a main example of a director that often recycles the same actors and his films are amazing hence making that person's whining ridiculous.

Let's say like how Henri Ducard was actually Ra's Al Ghul; Alberto Falcone could develop into someone similar and more practical besides the Holiday Killer. Say........
