Isn't that just the same thing that Variety reported, only on a german site? If it is, it's old news, and since then Entertainment Weekly has disputed it and there's been nothing to indicate who to really believe until Nolan tells us for sure. I don't see how another foreign site reporting on the same disputed story makes it official, but maybe I'm missing something, either way it says it was posted on March 23rd so it's outdated anyway.

If Gordon-Levitt is playing a Falcone crime boss then Mario Falcone makes far more sense than Alberto, as Alberto was always left out of his families activities.

What if JGL and Bane are used to symbolize what either of Bruce' identities Bruce and Batman could have become. JGL the criminal rich kid, either as Alberto or Black Mask or mavbe both, mirroring what Bruce could have become. Bane on the other hand is mirroring what Batman could have become: The anti-Batman.

I agree. Levitt may look more like Alberto, but Mario makes more sense.

Well, Alberto might not even be head of the crime family. He was always left out,so he might have a different purpose for being in the film.

Or JGL might have Mario's role,but just with the name of Alberto slapped on because he is more familiar.

Yea I think theyre gonna blend aspects of Mario and Alberto for his character, I suspect he'll be the new head of the family (Mario) while also having his own secret agenda (Alberto).

As far as screentime goes:

Bane/Catwoman = Joker/Two-Face

That leaves us with Rachel/Maroni/Chechen/Coleman Reese screentime for Marion and JGL.
