The fact that so many people thought it looked better was confusing.
But what pissed me off was the fact that the "original footage" was desaturated.

I get the feeling the Amazons will all get wiped by the German raid in the WW movie being the reason she needs to live her life in this world. With Zack being a primary story developer he would go this way and not take cheap short cuts like a magical island able to hide from 21st century technology.
So I'm guessing that shot is WW and Mera stunt doubles.

I think the reason that WW is living among humanity is that she was probably ostracized by her people or chose self-exile after the events of the WW movie.

I don't think a people that could survive Darkseid's invasion would be done-in by WW1 soldiers, and the Amazons would have a big place going forward with JL and the motherboxes and Diana's own arc. At some point she should be the Queen of the Amazons herself.

Plus I don't think WB/DC would want to have their girl-power movie have all the badass women except Diana be wiped out by German dudes. The Amazons seemed to be kicking their ass anyway. I think what's happening is that the Germans stumble on to the island at the beginning of the movie after Steve arrives and that motivates Diana to end WW1 and travel into man's world.

Exactly, I'd love for the DCEU to embrace magic. SS laid the groundwork so the audience won't have much trouble with the concept.

I really want Superman to find the bottled city of Kandor and face Braniac in a future movie.

Huh, that Argus site looks pretty cool. Hopefully they do add meta-human files over time, I want to see more metas than just the JL.

As for languages, the Amazons probably speak an ancient Greek dialect if anything and there might be some ancient Greek influence for the Atlanteans. Considering how much work went into designing Krypton, I have no doubt that all the supernatural civilizations and aliens worlds have their own languages and cultures, but we probably won't see too much of it in JL.

Apparently, the original idea for the Krypton prologue in MoS was to have all the lines in Kryptonian. It's kind of a shame that never went through, even though it might have been too much for GA.

I don't want things to be cheesy, but I don't need everything to be super-duper-hyper realistic either. I mean yeah, so if a magical island is too much for you ... what about Zeus creating female warriors then? How do you make that "realistic"?

In addition to the helicopter that will serve for the aerial shots, two other helicopters are being used for the rapid transportation of the production team and actors until Djúpavík.

These photos were taken at Djúpavík. The helicopters were photographed in another town.

We have information, in addition to the already confirmed presence of Jason Momoa in Iceland, the actor Willem Dafoe is located in Djúpavík. Dafoe plays Nuidis Vulko in justice league.

That's because that kind of high fantasy is not Ayer's forte. When Enchantress was a more sinister black magic/urban legend creature, she was actually pretty creepy and the magical elements were done well. It's when she became a high fantasy being that it got kind of wonky.

Wonder Woman lends herself a lot more to that kind of epic mythology and that is right up Zack's alley.

Many of my favourite comic characters have mythologial/alien backgrounds from exotic places which I would love to see brought to life onscreen and yes, I think Zack would be more suited to this kind of thing.
