But speaking of shows with black leads, are there ANY on tv right now? I was talking with my sister the other day and I dont know of any shows right now that feature a predominant black cast. Excuse my ignorance but its hard to know these things when you dont live in the states hehe

There was also Lincoln Heights a couple years ago, not sure if it still comes on or not. Treme on HBO has a cast that is at least half black, if not majority (the show is set in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina).

We're also losing Law & Order, which has had at least 2 black leads consistently for the past 10 years (Lt. Van Buren, and Detectives Green & Bernard).

Undercovers is gathering a BIG push from the network at least in terms of budget I can only assume the publicity budget will get the same treatment...

Yeah I have seen a lot of ads for it myself. It's interesting to see that kind of focus. If memory serves this is a JJ Abrams production. Hope it doesn't keep him too tied up from doing a sequel to Star Trek.
