I doubt he will be a full on monster. Possibly halfway between human and monsterous.

Maybe Doomsday will the reason why Clark becomes Superman. I mean Doomsday = huge epic threat. Hell on Earth, as what those would say it is. But then here comes our savior who saves us. That savior is Superman.

Kinda reminds me of an idea Grant Morrison has for those All Star Superman specials, where his Superman fights Satan in an origin storyline. In a way, both versions play on the Superman as a Christ-like figure motif with these ideas.

I guess Doomsday will have a human form, otherwise it doesn't fit into what the show is. They don't have the budget to create a CGI monster breaking havoc around the world. The female villain should be Mercy, which is more interesting, I prefer a smart villain than a moronic monster to be honest. Hope Michael comes back for at least a couple of episodes, including the series finale.

EDIT: I just had another good idea for what I just said. What-if Clark (non-Superman) fights Doomsday but can't (almost dying). So he goes to the Fortress, and a while later, he returns as Superman (full costume). Doomsday (has to be human for this show) says ":nice outfit". Then Superman says "one of the things this world believes in is superheroes. Time for them to come to life". Then FIGHT!

Doomsday won’t be Clark’s only nemesis in the upcoming season. The executive producers are tight-lipped about a new female villain they will be introducing, but they can say she will be familiar to many fans and will set her sights on Clark in ways Lex never could. Intelligent, brilliantly manipulative, and dangerously sinister, our gorgeous new villain has one more weapon in her arsenal: Her mutual attraction with Clark may prove to be as deadly as kryptonite for him.

I don't like the idea of Doomsday in any form being on the show, unless Clark has already been established as Superman, which is not what the show is about.

No thanks, is just ******ed.
Only fanboys want crap like that on TV, I rather have more sophisticated villains, using their brain to beat Clark, with Lex gone, then Mercy could be the female villain trying to make Clark's life miserable.

My first thought on all of this is the whole "tight-lipped" thing for the female villain. I would think they'd want to keep a name like Doomsday under wraps for as long as possible, so what female character would they want to hide like this?
