Initially, that was the point, but I decided to go a different way.

its a digital piece based off 3 Bill Murray character from 3 Wes Anderson movies, specifically 'rushmore', 'royal tenenbaums', and 'life aquatic'.

I doodled a winged monkey randomly during work a few months back... but he looked too nice and cuddly. So I gave him a flick-knife; added some edge... ; )

I've been having lots of fun with the monkeys! I did a picture a while back with the Witch and and a monkey where the monkey was intentionally cute, so I'm trying move away from that without getting into looking evil.

MONKEYS!!!!!

I sketched one monkey... and it was too fun... so I decided to add two more.

I tried to give them slightly different looks and personality.... Anyway, here they are, sketched and flat color...

I can not WAIT to start painting these little guys.
