Ms. Marvel in the works? - Part 1

I recall somebody said Emily Blunt wasn't interested in action roles. Did that change after Looper?

too bad January Jones is such a bland actress

Not sure when it changed, but she did Looper and she'll be some super secret agent badarse in All You Need Is Kill with Tom Cruise.

You kinda got 'em all. I would dare say add Katherine Heigl from our earlier feminine-plot-slanted discussion. Maybe Katie Cassidy, as she's mentioned over at that other site. Didn't some people want Amanda Righetti to be Carol?

Amanda Righetti already had a small role in Captain America as a shield agent. I love her red hair as is but maybe she could dye her real hair blonde & red hair be part of an alternate disguise.

That news is pretty old. People have been talking about it for the last few pages.

Abbie Cornish has a good look for her too.

And, I know I'll get flamed for this, but I also like Jessica Biel. I always thought she was sexy and funny. I think she gets a lot of flack around these boards and, since she's popular, this suggestion may be "uninspired," but I'd be happy with a blonde Biel standing next to Scarlett's BW in a future Marvel film, no doubt.

Your right it is unispired but it isn't that bad really. I know I'm going to get flamed for this but I don't think she would be bad either.

She isn't my first choice but she's not a bad one.

How about Sarah Jones from Alcatraz and Vegas?

She's 5'8", 29 years old, and has sort of the right balance between toughness and femininity that Ms. Marvel would require.

Biel is terrible as an action heroine. I don't hate her or anything, she's good in some other stuff, she's just wooden and hammy in action flicks. She's the female Channing Tatum.
