And now I can't wait to see this movie again with this in mind. Beautiful words; really made my day.

Someone should post it in other topics, maybe more people will look from this angle on the film... Even though he made a few mistakes... he said that Martha asks Bruce "who are you?", but she didn't, Bruce introduced himself on his own - doesn't change anything in the grand scheme of things. It's indeed beautiful that he says "I'm a friend of your son". Enemy->friend. And another mistake: I think it's a stretch that Superman evolved after Martha scene, I felt that scene differently. At first he was ready to kill Batman to save his mother, if needs be, but in the moment of truth, in front of inevitable death, the only thing he wanted - to save his Earth mother. Ready to kill-> ready to die.

This opinion also makes me sad a bit. Because they made such a great job delivering this multi-layered story, and I hope this backlash doesn't break their Snyder and Terrio's plans on exploring more with these characters. No wonder Eisenberg said, that the movie didn't feel like your typical summer blockbuster, it felt like a smaller, much more risky film. And it actually is. And look at people...

It's kind of amazing that I've seen quite a few people saying that Snyder does not understand those characters, that he's basically a kid playing in the sandbox, and as we see the film, and dissect it and reflect it, we know this couldn't be more wrong.

I feel like too many only see the flash in Snyder's direction, and turn a blind eye to the rest. Man Of Steel is, at least to me, a really poetic, emotional film that shows a really sensitive and skilled director.

Same for BvS.

You're goddamn right. That's why my opinion on Man of Steel improved with time. I rated it 6/10 at first purely for spectacle, now it's 8/10. And Batman v Superman is 9/10. I was able to see more substance behind flash and flesh. And when I did, I fell in love with Superman for the first time.

Am I the only one who really loved the hair movement of Aquamomoa underwater? It had a strong mermaidy feel to it.

Martha Kent kidnapping to just before the funeral scene, the movie had my full attention. The movie really kicked off for me when Superman was on the rooftop talking with Lex. I was in awe of just how strong WW was. What a boss.

The opening sequence on Krypton in MOS is easily my favourite opening sequence to a film ever.

Spring Break for my kids, so Daddy took off this week. It's been in the planning for a year.

Pretty excited for my second viewing this coming weekend. I plan to spread out my multiple viewings. I don't know how some people already had 8 in the span of a weekend. Where do you guys find the time?!

I'm looking at seat chart on IMAX for tomorrow and it's wide open. No one is watching....I'll have to drag my coworkers to go see it and we'll have all the IMAX stadium seats all to ourselves.

Am I the only one who liked Mercy Graves's look in the film? I'm not sure what's her purpose was in it, except for showing how ruthless Lex is by sacrificing her... But she was smoking, with styling and costume from Wilkinson. Vampire beauty.

Hah! I did the same. No kids, but took a week off a year in advance knowing it would come to this. Just got out of my 3rd viewing. I plan on seeing it a few more times with my buddies who can't make it yet. My mom will be my last showing.

Then I realize I dont care and I loved the movie. Ill be going for a second viewing this weekend.
