You're just mad that the dynamic duo always wins in the end.![]()
That's a nigh impossible first task.
Perhaps he should start with something easier.

I've only seen one or two posters who knows that Robin wont be in it, but everyone else STILL thinks that the whole "Robin's Cave" and "Joseph Gordon-Levitt in talks" means that hes got a strong chance of playing Robin or Nightwing (both really stupid thoughts if you think it over).
robin is Totaly essential to the batmythos others who dont see that are Npt true Batman fans are deluding themselves. This thread has become completely useless to post in. I had a comment all typed up and the mouse was on 'Post' and I just deleted to avoid all the crap I would get for my opinion. Tis a bit sad really![]()

Exactly! if those things can happen Robin can happen and would be a great addition! So one can only help another if he's smarter or more capable? Did you also consider that Robin is his pupil, his contigency plan in case he dies, his hope for the future? 1) Dick Grayson is a top level acrobat so he can at least be mobile and avoid getting hurt until he's more capable in fighting.
2) He could provide support, like staying behind or above and throwing batarangs, smoke bombs, etc.
3) If you re so stuck on realism, let me inform you that a microwave emitter should have fried people as well, not just selectively evaporated water. TEH REALISMS!!!
People here who think so, seem to not have any idea of Nolan as a filmmaker at all. Seriously! Have you [the robin-yes:ers] not seen anyhting Noloan has done before? How he makes movies? How his stories are written and executed? If you have, then how the f*** can you think Robin will be in DKR?
Well, for one he's not George Lucas. And what exactly is againts Robin in the way Nolan does his films? All we need is a plot that surrounds and supports the idea that Bruce's family is widening up among other things.

We know that it's highly unlikely. Damn, why do we have to repeat this in every page? Why dont you guys read the previous pages before posting? The question/problem isnt about if Robin is essential to the Batman-mythos. The question is that Would Nolan do this? Would Nolan use Robin in his Batman film?

Because ppl still seem to believe Robin is going to be in DKR.We know that it's highly unlikely. Damn, why do we have to repeat this in every page? Why dont you guys read the previous pages before posting?
I dont think so. We're just discussing the possibilities and the themes the character could bring. Even if some believe he'll be in the movie its their prerrogative, so let them believe it.Because ppl still seem to believe Robin is going to be in DKR.
So, I posted this yesterday afternoon in the process of pissing off half of SHH, and I'm still being labeled as ignorant and being told I have no right to speak about a character I know nothing about. So please, somebody enlighten as to what I'm missing out on. I'm guessing there isn't anything. It's not that I'm clueless, it's that I offended the delicate sensibilities of some folks who are clearly way too defensive about a character that they are used to hearing be the butt of jokes.
No, I am allowed to joke around with the folks I know, and they joke with me. That's what friends do. They make fun of their homosexuality, they make fun of my heterosexuality. I return the favor. Not everyone is as uptight as you are making it sound. I'm well aware that not all gay people are campy, and you're right-- the gay people I know don't wear "skivvies" or "pixie boots" (to my knowledge). Thanks a bunch though for the lesson in civility, I'll try to keep your suggestions in mind from now on when I see them at work or at social gatherings/parties.![]()
I'm sure we can all agree that Nolan suddenly including Robin in TDKR is wildly unlikely. A debate about Robin is fine, but it's odd that some people really believe the chances of him being in the next movie are anything above miniscule.
The Arch Nolanites are the most dogmatic group of people the world has ever seen; they adore the teachings of their prophet so passionately, that they even try to imagine what those teachings might be on subjects on which they are silent. And why the **** should anybody care what I believe might be in the movie?
WHAT IS WITH THIS OBSESSIVE NEED TO INTRUDE UPON PEACEFUL CONVERSATION AND SAY "YOU ARE WRONG. YOU ARE STUPID. YOU ARE DELUSIONAL." AM I BOTHERING YOU? CAN YOU JUST NOT STAND SEEING THE ROBIN THREAD BUMPED TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE?
It's not just this thread. It's every thread on these godforsaken boards. You just can't let anything go, can you? You just have to tell someone that they're wrong.
"Well, well some people think he's actually gonna be in the movie!"
AND? SO? You're on a mission from god to prove them wrong? Trot out quotes to show them how wrong they are? WHY DO YOU CARE?
I don't go around to people's houses and tell them they're voting the wrong way, or they're praying to the wrong god. (Sadly, this happens anyway.)
Why can't you let people believe what they want? No one's getting hurt. Especially when it's in the ROBIN THREAD.
... thus proving that most Robin fans are prepubescent boys with self-esteem issues.
