I'm going to talk to a friend about going. It's a long drive, but it'd be worth it. Will the extras get to meet Nolan, Bale, etc?

If you're an extra on a small scene, maybe. But I doubt you'd have any chance if you're in a crowded stadium. Probably won't even see any of the main actors. However, it would be really cool to see Nolan out on the field with a megaphone directing the crowd...I'd say that's possible!

As an extra you're not supposed to approach the talent as they're doing a job and should let them be.

I swung by there a couple days ago and spotted GCPD cars, "Magnus crew enter on 32nd" signs and WB trucks in the rear parking area, it's definitely picking up

To can confirm the presence of Gotham Police Dept. squad cars in storage in a local studio lot here in Pittsburgh.
Earlier this evening, I drove by the gated lot of the 31st street studios...the studios are located in a well known "warehaouse" section of town, near the well known Strip District. While there are no signs, designating the studios, there was one that indicated that the Magnus Rex crew should enter on the 32nd street side. On that side of the studio, behind wire fencing, are several blue and white GPD squad cars. The guard who came to the gate was friendly but volunteered little.

Scenes outside the SEI, which will be portrayed as a prison, will include an explosion, a prison break, precision stunt driving, gunfire, atmospheric smoke, and controlled pyrotechnic explosions.

Scenes outside the Fifth Ave. entrance of Mellon Institute include a standoff between two rivals that escalates into a riot. One character drives a motorcycle through the fourth floor lobby, out the front doors and down the steps onto Fifth Ave. Special effects include precision stunt driving, gunfire and atmospheric smoke.

Guess so. I signed up through them for another film doing a shoot tomorrow night. Didn't get any email notice until Tuesday with info. on it yesterday. I'm hoping I get a TDKR email sometime next week or later.

Damn, I didnt get a crew confirmation, but I got an e-mail saying theyre looking for men my size for stand-ins.

The CMU shoot is practically in my backyard. I drive by there to go to work everyday, bank at the PNC around the corner, and eat on N Craig 1 block East all the time. I actually shot a scene for my senior college film on the front steps of the Mellon Institute! Should be extremely cool - can't wait!!!

And dammit I better get either crew or casting confirmations soon!

I'm not very familiar with the CMU campus but I've been through there a few times and I have a couple friends who go there, I might actually go there for grad school next fall.

I believe so, yes. There was a posting for crew positions for Magnus Rex and I applied that day.

Those are probably the same ones from 31st Street and theyre heading to the SEI building at CMU. If theyre prepping for a prison break scene I'm sure they'll need lots of police cars.

New Email from the beinamovie guys regarding the football game:

Just want to keep you updated with all the new things happening.

Right now I'm up in Pittsburgh about to do a walk through of the set we're going to be on Aug. 6th. And about to meet up with the crews and departments that make all this come together (Locations, Wardrobe, Special Effects etc.)

What a great honor and adventure to be part of this great film.

I know a lot of you that have been signing up to be in the film are coming in from states all around the country (and so far 6 other countries), please though, if you want to but in reality can't make it to the event... please cancel at www.BeInAMovie.com/help. That way someone else can attend in your place.

I will keep you Updated and keep you in the loop of what's going on regardless ... so please, do the right thing.

BUT that being said... Sure hope you are going to be here and in the film with us.

I'll let you know all about what's going on as I find out.
