Count me in.

I am really excited about this, but not enough to want a pair of screen-used undies...

Now that Pittsburgh has been confirmed, I think this is the right time to bring this pic back up again:

Last month, Jett was informed that this abandoned school building may be used for interior shoot. Anyone who's familiar with Pittsburgh know where this building is located?

Are they still shooting in LA as well? Or is that mostly sound stage work?

They are shooting in LA, I'm assuming that means sound stage work but we don't know yet. Inception was shot on location in LA.

I have no idea where that is, when Jett posted that I remember I tried to find it for like 2 days.

Teehe, The real building my friend :o

I'm definitely down for a weekend in Pitt! :)

Maybe we'll figure out when or if some huge filming sequences will go down in Pitt, a la the funeral parade or semi flip in Chicago.

Like someone else mentioned, I think they'll film a big sequence in NYC come the fall around Wall Street.

I'll miss seeing Chi-Town as the backdrop for Gotham, but I am glad they are using Pitt this time around...along with the UK and NY possibly as locations for Gotham.

It shows that Nolan understands the importance of making Gotham a character within itself.

I'm close enough to pittsburgh where I am definitely making a trip down to checkout filming.

I live in Bloomsburg, Pa and I'll be spending a couple weeks in Pittsburgh this summer. I'll be checking in on the Dark Knight Rises action and I'll send any pictures/info I get your way, fellas.

I'm in St. Louis and I planned on going to Chicago for the filming but... now my trip has moved to Pitt. This road trip just got a hell of a lot longer.

The cool thing about the Burgh is that it isn't necessarily a big city, so locations are limited for Nolan and Co. ... But there are very unique places, so you know that Nolan saw them. I think that can be inferred.

Here's an abandoned high school - something that I wouldn't dismiss as being a secret hideout for Bane, or Catwoman, or a broken mob who needs to hide. It's a very distinct, rare location in America.

Perhaps the most eerie of the three schools featured is this abandoned high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. What caused its closure is uncertain. Perhaps it was consolidation of educational resources or population decline in this area of the changing industrial city. But the seats in the crumbling auditorium and the rusting lockers once assigned to specific pupils are a mysterious reminder of the voices that once echoed through these empty corridors.

Im just a few hours away from Pittsburg, so ill definetly being making the trip down see what. This movie has become even more awesome!!

Chicago > Pittsburgh.

But congrats to Pittsburgh.

Black & Yellow...Bat insignia.

Anyone else in Philly feel like making the long ass hike over to Pittsburgh? Nothing like a little cross state road trip to check out the set. The tough part is that they will only be in Pittsburgh for 4-6 weeks so once they announce locations, it will be tough to plan to get over there.

Might just be easier to wait until they film in NYC.

I feel this way too but if the DK was any indication, Nolan won't use locations like this. The old candy factory that I believe they used as the hospital they simply blew up, but it was debated on here endless whether or not that would be the location of the final battle between Batman and Joker.

Haha yea thats my HUGE problem. I currently LIVE in downtown pittsburgh.... been here for 4 friggin years and on June 1st I have to move to philly. Its horrible to say the least, I could have been right in the action.

Ill be coming back to pittsburgh, or staying with friends/family near pittsburgh as much as I possibly can, I know the city well so it wont be a problem for me. The traveling back and forth is whats going to suck hard core.

so I feel ya

Guys, this is an obvious indication that Batman will be sporting Black & Yellow in the new movie.
