The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Paul Giamatti IS Rhino - Part 2

I wonder if he's able to speak when the helmet is on. His Russian accent on a microphone amplified through the streets making threats at Spidey would be hilarious.

I'm sure he won't sound like a Decepticon anyways :D

There's one canister of plutonium missing?

Whats so sad is Rhino used to hold his own against the Hulk but you honestly cant tell me you see that possibilty with this thing!

All he'd have to do is yank on those loose wires under the right armpit. Or crush those very useful looking guns.

Well, I can't even imagine Ironman holding his own vs the Hulk (except ofc the Hulkbuster) let alone this thing. I think Rhino is just there as a plot device really, and nothing more. He's just there to be a 'threat that only Spidey can bring down', and one that draws Spidey out of his painful grieving, to show the city that they really need him.

I'm sure in TASM3 onwards, he'll have a more significant role.

I really can't wait to see Rhino's new suit in TASM3.

And a new upgraded suit. Possibly even a cross-species Rhino.

"Aleksei, do you want the power to take down Spidey and kill him for good?"
"Oh hell yes."
"Ok. First, drink this. Now come with us."

That would be interesting if they did a cross-species Rhino, but I don't think it'll happen. They went in the direction of having a mech suit for a reason, and I think they're going to stick with that idea. He'll probably just have an upgraded suit as you suggested, possibly something closer to what we have in the USM comic books.

I'm glad he isn't mutated in some way - it adds a nice variety to the villain flavor we're getting. I'm hungry, so i'm using lots of food-related words.

The conversation would fit either way but there's still a possibility it could go the cross species route. I'd prefer it to remain some type of a mech suit. I could see them giving him an upgraded one that more closely resembles the USM version.

I remember how people were worried about us getting only cross-species villains throughout the entire series. Glad that isn't the case. Although Harry mutates, he isn't just a giant cross-species monster than Spider-Man has to fight like the Lizard. Seems like we'll be getting a very diverse group of villains this time around. Between Lizard, Rhino, Electro, Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Vulture, there is plenty of variety. Though I think Norman's Green Goblin will be very different from Harry's. Marc and co. have something up his sleeves, I know it.

Rhino is going to have a manhole implanted in his head at the beginning of TASM 3 lolololol.

I reeeeallly hope the general audience get that Rhino isn't exactly meant to be taken seriously. I don't want to walk out of the theater and hear "that guy" saying, "ooooooooooohhhh rhino was sooooooooooooo cheeeeeeeeeessy.."

Well I think it's pretty clear that he isn't supposed to be taken that seriously.

Paul Giamatti said he's playing him "over-the-top." It may garner that "cheesy" type of response. But honestly, who cares what 'that guy' says anyways?!

Yeah I think that's supposed to be the point of both points. If he's S6, he adds robotics aspect to the team. But as gnarly as he looks, I think he's gonna be just as silly as we know him.

When Webb was explaining their design choice for Rhino, he didn't give much thought when deciding the robotic way was the best way. Seems as though the decision was made quickly once Rhino was the route they were taking.

That thing is so ugly and borderline ridiculous it's not even funny,

*The Transformers movies were a success....let's have that in Spider-Man*

Pathetic...

Transformer's Rhino and Master Chief's Green Goblin vs Spider-Man...oh brother :whatever:

I'm just know what will be the movie's twist....Rhino is Arnim Zola's son

It's sad knowing from now on, anything robotic is considering "ugly and borderline ridiculous" because Transformers did it first? Transformers made a ton of money, so let's copy their robotic CGI and hopefully ours will make a billion also? :whatever: Yeah, I bet that's EXACTLY what they were thinking at Sony...

People are dying to hate this movie and its characters any way possible. We've literally seen 10 seconds or less of Rhino and it's already a target. People are going to pull something with all that reaching... It's laughable. :hehe:

Yeah,It would have been better to do a cross species Rhino, especially since they had just done a cross species villain in the first movie
