Well they still feasibly could depending on how later seasons go.

Note Kate Walsh from Grey's Anatomy getting Private Practice.

Recap of ''God Mode''

Is it just me or is Finch's voice @ the 2.40 marc ''eerily'' mechanical sounding
The last comment by Jonathan Nolan is interesting

'Person of Interest' promotes Sarah Shahi to series regular for Season 3

Really like this move as Shaw and Reese made a good team and gives them some more possible storylines involving her past as well.

It also gives Sarah's Shaw some more physical stuff to do if Jim continues to struggle a bit in that area. And the best way to go than a spin-off since I'd rather see all the energy go into this one show than this AND a spin-off, imo.

Wonder how Shaw's past will be handled? Because you know they're going to start on her flashbacks once season three begins now, lol.

The balance between "the number of the week" and the overall arc of the season was very well done in the second half of the season. It was a smooth ride.

I think you are right on all points, Shaw will take up some of the fighting slack and her back story will be a big part of season 3.

What's up with all the Shaw hate on article comments and other forums? I really feel like this is the only show where it's fans freak out if it adds a new character. It's really weird. I'd rather the cast interacts with new characters than "Numbers of the week." The best episodes always deal with the recurring characters.

On the article I linked, the one negative one looks to be a bunch of gibberish and mispellings about Zoey and Leon not being on the show. I'd say a good majority of the fans don't mind or like her being added.

Tuesday, Sept. 24
8:00-9:00 PM NCIS (11th season premiere)
9:00-10:00 PM NCIS: LOS ANGELES (5th season premiere)
10:00-11:00 PM PERSON OF INTEREST (3rd season premiere)

Good move for the show.

Oh, yeah, did I forget to post that this was changing nights? My bad. I'll be interesting to see it scheduled post-drama block, rather than post-comedy block on thursday.

Got the S1 Blu-ray/DVD Combo for $19.96 today at Wal-Mart!

the move to Tuesday nights works for me... so it looks like Tuesday will be my night for SHIELD, Supernatural and POI... I like it...

New PoI Comic-Con poster:

From EW.com:

There’s so much for Person of Interest fans to analyze in this EW exclusive poster that we don’t even know where to begin ourselves. But executive producer Jonathan Nolan sums up the theme nicely, saying: “In light of the news about PRISM, we felt this poster celebrated both our panic at America’s descent into an Orwellian nightmare and our excitement over all the free marketing we’re getting out of it.”
The poster will be available to fans at Comic-Con this weekend, and fans on-site also have a chance to see the cast and producers live, when they participate in a panel Saturday at 4 p.m. in room 6BCD. Nolan, fellow EP Greg Plageman, and stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman, Sarah Shahi are set to appear. Recurring guest star Amy Acker will also be on hand.

I think it is going to be a lot of fun seeing if they address the recent NSA leaks (Snowden etc.) and how their surveillance program has now been revealed to the world... there's so much more they can do with that theme now. Should be a lot of fun.

WHAT!!! Amy is regular now that is awesome I can't wait to see how they make that work.

Finally. I was wondering when the announcement would come. :) I love her.

Amy Acker Upgraded to Series Regular :up:

Wonder how that'll be, though. A more villainous element as a regular fixture...
Wasn't expecting that but after how Season 2 ended and her circumstances, I guess it does make some sense. Almost too bad that Paige Turco/Zoe is on another show that limits her possible PoI appearances since I really love the chemistry between her and John.

Some highlights from their SDCC panel: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsideth...est-season-3-previewed-at-comic-con-2013.html
