:hrt: Very rarely disappoints, and this was most definitely not one of those times.

Person of Interest - Episode 4.10 - The Cold War - Press Release

SAMARITAN SHOWS ITS TRUE POWER BY TAKING CONTROL OF NEW YORK FOR 48 HOURS IN AN ATTEMPT TO LURE THE MACHINE OUT OF HIDING, ON “PERSON OF INTEREST,” TUESDAY, DEC. 16

“The Cold War” – Samaritan shows its power by erasing crime from the city for a day in an attempt to force The Machine out of hiding, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, Dec. 16 (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

CHEAT TWEET: Samaritan demands a meeting with The Machine. What happens when 2 gods collide? #PersonOfInterest 12/16 10:01pm http://bit.ly/11W178C
Whoa.

This kid Dominic has an electrifying presence on screen.
I'm surprised he's only been in an episode of Law & Order before POI.

Have to agree with everyone here that tonight was another fantastic episode. It was a nice setup to the future alliances that all the sides in the gang war will have and showed how much more dangerous Samaritan is getting in locating Team Machine.

POI does escalation like no other show. The scale is huge. I love it.

Loved everything about this episode,Dominic has such a onscreen presence, also loved the many callbacks to the first time Reese and Elias met. I would actually just love to see a once off episode involving Elias and his friend dealing with those who turned on him.

Ive been thinking for a while now that Root will meet her demise soon and Shaw will feel responsible because she is not able to help her as she is now kept underground for her own safety. I'm expecting a full on Martine vs Shaw fight in the final with Shaw wanting revenge

Now after catching up with the show I really can't wait for the show to arrive on Netflix. I have only seen a couple of the first season episodes, so Elias is a bit of mystery to me still. RIP Scarface...he was loyal to the end.

I don't watch many programs week after week. Person of Interest is one of them.

So sad to see Scarface go. I really liked how Elias is now an unofficial ally. Dominic is as magnificent as ever. I don't think there's even a single character in this show (villain or hero) that I dislike. I love them all.

Pfft... I'm not worried about Martine's army. Bear can take them all out! :awesome:

im getting person of interest season one and two on dvd for Christmas

Season 3 is on sale right now for $14.99.

First thought when the episode started : cleavage and gun !
Very good episode on all fronts, we got a lot of Samaritan POV which was nice.
Martinator got an upgrade !

It occurred to me that they all used their cell phone, I thought Samaritan ( or The Machine ) could tap on phone lines ?

In the first episode this season, Finch was able to patch a batch of cell phones into a covert communication network using old VHF TV antennas that the Brotherhood was trying to force a tech shop owner to build for them. This means they're not using cell towers and their associated networks, thus are not able to be tracked by Samaritan.

My favorite part of season four so far has been Reese moonlighting as a detective.

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten that part.

EXCLUSIVE Person of Interest spoilers: Emrhys Cooper talks ‘humane’ John Greer & sexy Black-ish role!

British actor Emrhys Cooper is a rising star over in the States and has already appeared in CSI: NY, Desperate Housewives and Black-ish. Now, he’ll be adding a different show to his expanding resume as he joins Person of Interest in an intriguing role – a younger version of Samaritan baddie John Greer.

The December 16th installment will take an in depth look at how the former MI6 agent cracked the cold war. Ahead of the highly anticipated back story of one of the series’ villains

That is going to be interesting! That tidbit of Greer's past from his conversation with Fitch was the only mention of his past so far.

Holy ****! I'm so excited (and nervous lol). :wow:

That looks great! So will the 2nd and 3rd part of the trilogy not be until next year?

Yep. Those two episodes ("If-Then-Else" and "Control Alt Delete") won't be until after the New Year in January.

From the promo, it looks like all the cover identities for Team Machine are going to be blown and they're no longer safe from Samaritan. It also looks like they're possibly playing up another major death. Can't wait until next Tuesday for the first part to begin as it's been too long without a new PoI.
