I set mine to 30 because any further than that and I would need a car. At least I could take the train and see the other 4 in about an hour.

I texted her back today now that I have coherent thought again. She says that she had fun, and is still thankful for me inviting her.

I suggested we get together sometime when shes free, and id give her the cd and stuff. She agreed, so well see if she follows up.

In the meantime, I have some other girls I need to follow up with.

That's not bad. At least your keeping your options open.

Update: He changed his phone number, so the one I have is useless. Oh well back to packing.

Oh God, OKCupid...I never made a profile on that site but my coworker is doing the online dating thing and he tried OKCupid since they're more scientific or...something. (We're scientists, it happens.) They do give you a questionnaire but it's not to match people with, it's for profile visitors to get a sense of who you are.

I tried OkCupid when I first moved to Florida. A friend told me it was easy to meet girls so I signed up. After a couple crazy experiences I met a girl and dated her for six months . We both delete our profiles. Now I'm thinking of setting it up again , but reading some of these girls profiles makes me question myself for doing it.

Also those questions are ridiculous. "What is the most exciting thing about getting to know someone new?" "Discovering your shared interests or Discovering their body?" .. I'm at a crossroads here.

Yeah the free ones are all kind of the same, so it depends on what sort of audience you want. OKCupid I guess is for people who like to put some stock in answering or reading answers to stupid relationship-related questions.

I met all sorts of people on Plenty of Fish. My bf is perfect for me but we did pursue a rather unconventional courtship.

I did try ItsJustCoffee.com which is solely for nerds, but even I was intimidated by the amount of intellectualism on that site. I'm a pseudo-nerd at best.

Lavalife is where I encountered the guy who asked, "How are your feet" before even a hello. I didn't try Match.com because you have to pay. I'm cheap.

Any place that sells food that causes sever gas attacks will work. Everybody will be self conscious so you'd have an easier time talking to them. I mean they're eating Taco Bell soon.
