Part Sarcasm, part opinion.

He was complaining about the lip on the chest when the original has a lip in the same spot for no reason as well.

Robocop is too bulky in the original. He keeps his gun in a location that if it malfunctions he can't get to it. No place for a backup weapon. Is black areas aren't made of the same material and exposed. Since he is made out of 2 different materials that leaves areas for people who capture him to rip apart his suit from. His fingers appear square so he is limited to a human what he can do. Face is exposed.

And yet I still love the original.

I love the looks of it but his movement was always a huge issue for me. He moved like Weller was wearing the Keaton Batman suit underneath the Robocop suit. Not terribly believable for an alleged cutting-edge crime-fighting cyborg.

Often but not always. The Wii/U is white and the X-Box 360 was/is white.

Plus we live in a different, any tech savvy person can build a robot in their garage and make it walk smoother than that. Back then a robot walking like that was mind blowing, in today's world we look at that and would be like man really. A futuristic robot today moves very smoothly, very human like.

Robocop's movements back in the original was just a product of its time. Now we're too conscious of technology to buy it. But back then, it was a novelty and cool. And it still is.

But you can't pull that off these days, so it's a time capsule of a begone era.

Ya they redesigned the whole website pretty cool. The video is still old, but I'm still liking what I'm seeing. I wonder if they will release a trailer to the public to help get the hype going.

All this talk of the suit/armor is good and all. The thing I was always interested in seeing, was the process of building him. I want to see the surgery, I want to see the body on the table with the missing limbs and the wires going in and out, organs missing and mechanical parts being lowered into nearly empty stomach and chest cavities. In the fist Robocop when they said "Shock it flatline and lets get started" was always a great moment for me, except we saw it all from his perspective, not the body on the table.

How long did the build take?
Did they cut away and replace bit by bit or just completely jack him up and then put everything in at one time? ... Though we know the arm went last from the movie.

So who's with me, I wanna see some gross robo surgery. Skull decapped, chest open, legs off, intestines gone, genitals gone (I think the battery pack took up the lower torso in the old one).

No, but with a $100 million production budget, the chances of "RoboCop" being released with a PG-13 rating is high. The studio wants to try to make its money back.

Show a lot more than ya think. Violence wise pg 13 can go pretty far

I hear ya. But we don't know the rating yet. I don't like the new suit so the surgery would be a big seller for me.
