I actually like the black suit. it's sleek and modern and badass.

They had a great font for the teaser poster, not sure why they changed it.

Much better than the last trailer. I'm interested.

It looks OK-ish. Will probably catch it on the big screen because of my love for the original, and for the fact that a fellow Swede is playing RoboCop himself.

Well, nothing in there alleviated my concern that this is Alex Murphy: Supercop. Good thing I've already written this one off.

I'm in the same boat. Not sure I'll see this in the theater but if I do it will be because of Oldman, Keaton and not necessarily Samuel Jackon, but dat wig. :funny:

That has to be one of the worst wigs right up there with the one Bardem wore in No Country.

Looks really great, action looks awesome. Cant wait

Nice.

Whereas the previous trailer was about a man coming to terms with being put inside a suit and trying to retain his humanity as it's slowly taken away from him by something he can't control, this trailer dealt with more of the politics of drone warfare, government/military takeover and the logistics of putting that man in that suit, which Jose Padilha talked about in his Slashfilm interview back in July, which I love.

From the dialogue and the tone of the trailer, I definitely get the feeling this is a lot smarter than your average modern action film. This film definitely seems to have a brain, as well as a heart.

Looking forward to this film.

That was actually Bardem's hair in that film? That looked so silly I figured they just placed a godawful wig over his real hair.

Yep. He described the haircut as "traumatic."

I think they went the right direction tone wise in the new trailer compared to the first one, this one seems like it's more targeted at the GA and so far most people seem interested.

Much better trailer.
It's odd to see Robocop running, I like the fact that this new version keeps the sharp mechanical movement ( scene in the police station ).

This still looks awesome. Just straight awesome.

Suit still looks plastic.

It looks OK-ish. Will probably catch it on the big screen because of my love for the original, and for the fact that a fellow Swede is playing RoboCop himself.

If you wanna get technical, Kinnaman is Swedish-American. Dual citizenship and all.

And new trailer makes it look pretty good. Could be a fun off-season film if the director pulls it off.

I've moved on from my dislike of many elements -the rubber suit, lack of 'robotic' elements, the face, etc etc-. I still don't like any of that, but I'm willing to give this movie a chance.
Luckily, the original is still gonna be there to take away any bad taste this movie could leave.

Interesting second trailer, liked the start of it anyway. Still has a long long way to go to match the original in my eyes but we shall see. I will see it just out of damn shear curiosity.

Looking forward to this movie big time. Not gonna lie, was skeptical at first. but after seeing the two trailers, I'm sold. I cant wait to see this. Will be going to the Theaters for sure.
